The God of my day is also the God of my night! I’m officially Senator Walkin. This moment is the result of perseverance, faith, and an unshakable commitment to serve. Yesterday, I took the student representative oath at Howard University and it was nothing short of euphoric. Your Senator of the College of Engineering and Architecture and Chairman of Senate University and External Affairs

As President @naesojj reminded us, we cannot have faith yet serve in fear.

To the 65th HUSA Administration and my fellow members of the 14th HUSA Senate let’s be bold, let’s be fearless, and let’s leave a legacy of service that inspires those who come after us.

I am the first Turks and Caicos Islander to Serve in the HUSA Senate what is your Legacy ? taken in Washington D. C. by @antwon.official

An unforgettable moment carrying the King’s Baton through my Blue Hills/Wheeland community this is my home; the place that helped raise me, shape me, and continues to inspire me. Honored to be part of this historic journey towards what may be the final edition of the Commonwealth Games. 🇹🇨👟

The promise of Howard university and reality most students experience is not always the same. Our service to this community must reflect a compassion for the sacrifices we make and our constituents make to attend the real HU.

OH HOWARD WE SING OF THEE BUT WE BETTER ACT LIKE WE KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE OF THEE.

A week ago, I had the privilege of hosting the TCI Sports Commission National Athlete Symposium—a day dedicated to learning, growth, and honest conversations about what it takes to succeed in sport and in life.

From former Olympians and sport professionals to parents, coaches, and young athletes, the room was filled with people committed to developing the next generation of Turks and Caicos talent.

We spoke about discipline, mental performance, navigating setbacks, balancing academics with athletics, and the sacrifices required to compete at a high level. More importantly, we reminded our young athletes that success is rarely the result of talent alone. It is built through consistency, resilience, and a willingness to keep showing up when nobody is watching.

The future of Turks and Caicos sport is in capable hands. Now the challenge is to take what was learned and put it into action. 🇹🇨❤️ taken in Providenciales, Turks And Caicos Islands by @antwon.official

I had the pleasure of engaging with the 3rd Form students of HJ Robinson High School during my visit to the nation’s capital today.

What stood out most was their impressive understanding of mental health awareness and their recognition that different leadership styles can impact people in different ways. Their insights, curiosity, and willingness to engage in meaningful conversation were both refreshing and encouraging.

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent with them and left inspired by the thoughtfulness and potential of this generation of leaders. by @antwon.official

Where do the broken hearts go? Where do the students who are told no go? What direction are they to turn? What is the message that we are to give the young people who are not among the selected ? taken in Providenciales, Turks And Caicos Islands by @antwon.official

Have the audacity to believe in yourself. Have the audacity to believe in your country. Have the audacity to truly live and breathe Turks and Caicos, our country firm and free, our allegiance to Turks and caicos we pledge, and we affirm.

Not just in word—but in work. Not just in pride—but in practice. Not just in moments like this—but in every decision, every action, every sacrifice we are called to make for this land.

Because, as our national song reminds us, we have already made pledges.

A pledge to stand—with courage, brave—to maintain this land of ours.

A pledge that though our islands are scattered here and there, we are united by something far greater than geography.

And a pledge that with trust in God, we stand. taken in Grand Turk, Turks And Caicos Islands by @antwon.official

Inclusivity and sustainability are the way forward for small island development. Broad-based and trickle-down approaches too often miss the very people they are intended to serve. The question before us is: what version of the Turks and Caicos Islands lies on the horizon? That is the decision we are called to make every day. 🇹🇨❤️
