Does award really matter? I always felt fine not getting an award but what truly mattered to me was the recognition, I always got from the people whom I met every day. This award from vogue comes as a recognition of what I have done in last 16 years. And what I like about it is that it comes with love from @rochelle.pinto and the team. It is not just a small piece of trophy that one can put on a shelf but it is a reminder that we are forces of fashion in making and have not reached there yet. There is a lot to be done. Honoured and humbled.

I went to Bir billing many years back and I tried paragliding there. Once up in the air I knew that I wanted to learn how to fly. I finally managed this year. Thanks to corona and @lalit_jibhi.
I figured it is a waiting game. Mostly waiting for the winds to be right. I will have to wait again for some time to put my hands on it. But I am happy that I can fly. Not like a pro but it is a good start. Thank you challa bhai and Hiralal for being patient.
I landed badly many times. Fell most of the times. Thanks to kalath hot water springs for most deserving healing times. :)

Can you guess where I am?

This is the coastal train that takes you to galle from Colombo. All along on its 3.5 hour ride it goes along the coast. Don’t miss this train ride if you are ever in Srilanka. It’s mostly crowded in the day so taking an early morning train is the best option. Or take a ride back from galle in the evening for a beautiful sunset.

Sharing some pics of the textile without the frame. I somehow prefer the draped version more than the framed version. What do you guys think?

What if a button could become a pixel,
and a piece of fabric could become a colour? This was the thought we had when a dear friend and their team approached us to commission a wall piece for a law firms office in Ahmedabad.

Every button in this frame holds a tiny piece of the image, and every colour is created by wrapping another layer of fabric around it.

No paint.
No brush.
Just fabric, buttons, and a little extra work.

A picture slowly appears,
one pixel at a time —
painted with fabric.

Standing in Red Square, it’s hard not to stop and look at this magnificent building—St. Basil’s Cathedral.

What struck me most, is how completely different it feels with every change in light. In the soft morning, the colours seem calm and almost pastel. Under a bright blue sky, the domes become incredibly vivid, while cloudy weather gives the cathedral a more mysterious, almost cinematic character. And at sunset, when the last light hits the red walls and golden domes, the whole building seems to glow.

Same place, different sky, different mood—and somehow, it never looks the same twice. ✨
