Project ‘Clouds That Never Rain’ began with a simple observation: today, technology is widely considered something weightless and intangible, something that exists somewhere ‘up there’. Through this project, we wanted to challenge this myth

We decided to continue the tradition of photographers like Bernd and Hilla Becher, who documented industrial buildings, and went outside to photograph data centres—the tangible backbone of everything we do online

Over five field trips, we photographed around 20 data centres. We noticed that these buildings don’t really want to be seen. They hide behind office frontages, surrounded by fences inside fences, with water running along their perimeters like castle moats. They are covered in signs: ‘no stopping’, ‘no cycling’, ‘no smoking’, etc. It felt like a quiet insistence that there is nothing worth stopping for.But, of course, there is

Data centres are one of the fastest-growing building technologies of our time. The global sector is set to double in size by 2030. In London alone, there are around 150 data centres, containing thousands of servers, cooling systems, backup generators, and miles of cables. Together, they consume vast amounts of energy and water, reshape urban landscapes, and make the seemingly weightless world of digital technology physically possible.
The project creates a photographic archive of this hidden infrastructure — the physical systems that quietly power our everyday lives

NEMOTA takes its title from Oleg Prokofiev’s poem I Like the Music of the Spheres, where the word refers to muteness or wordlessness

The exhibition considers what happens when communication moves beyond language: into colour, form, rhythm, movement, material and space

Set within Prokofiev Studio, four distinct practices come together through ideas of construction and composition, where individual elements shift, connect and find their place within the whole

Power to Care – a duo-exhibition by Anna Samoylova and Zulfiya Spowart, curated by Irina Kuznik and Anzhela Popova.

Power to Care explores care as a way of engaging with history, memory and inheritance. Through textiles, embroidery, painting and sculptural forms, Anna Samoylova and Zulfiya Spowart examine the fragile relationship between personal experience, cultural memory and material transformation.

Rather than seeking to repair or preserve the past, the exhibition invites us to remain attentive to its traces and to the time, labour and responsibility that care demands.

Jacques Derrida ‘Archive Fever’

Commencement/Commandment takes Jacques Derrida’s Archive Fever as a point of departure to consider the archive not as fixed or linear, but as something continually disturbed and re-negotiated. Bringing together works by Anastasia Belinskaya @abelinskaya , Gülce Tulçalı @gulcetulcali , Kika Sroka-Miller @kikasrokamiller , Synthetic Studio @syntheticduo and Harry Payne @hary.art_ , the exhibition considers the archive through different registers: material, technological, speculative and personal. Across the exhibition, these different forms do not aim to present a complete or chronological history. Instead, they point towards an archive made up of fragments: things preserved and things lost, things that can be accessed and others that remain out of reach

The archive that emerges across the exhibition is therefore neither neutral nor complete. It is geological and digital, institutional and personal, material and interpretative. It can preserve, but it can also exclude; it can make something visible while obscuring something else. Its gaps are not simply failures of preservation but part of the structures through which histories are produced.

Perhaps, then, the archive is less a place in which history sits still than a process through which it keeps changing. Commencement/Commandment does not attempt to define what an archive should contain, but considers the different ways something comes to be preserved, interpreted, withheld or transformed – and what might happen to it next

The Path of Form brings together a rare selection of previously unseen graphic works by Oleg Prokofiev, offering an opportunity to encounter a lesser-known aspect of the artist’s practice. The exhibition is accompanied by a significant archival document, From Construction to Installation, by German art historian Gottlieb Leinz, providing further insight into Prokofiev’s artistic process and the development of his work

You never have a perfect scenario, but you always have a fate. My exhibitions remind me of this and teach me in their own way: everything happens at the right time, with the right people

With @kiparis_ann, we had to meet exactly at that moment. All our hopes, ups and downs no longer need an explanation. We simply continue doing what we have to do

The show was amazing. Rain and promises, friendship and love, conversations with the spirits, and even a priest. We left our soles at the back door of the chapel, hoping for a better future

The stones will show us the right path
