Unveiling @jonaslund from our Art Dubai Digital series with his very intriguing, funny and complex MVP project! @aorist.art launched this project in April last year - and since then we have presented it at @w1curates in London, at the @venice.art.biennale and @milkeninstitute in LA. It was also recently shown in @fc_linz in a Solo Show - and now we are happy to present it here in Dubai at the Digital Art Section in partnership with @akthrart

MVP is a durational participatory project - 512 digital paintings that are entirely dependent on user engagement - as the viewers interact with the works on the artist’s website, they get to influence the algorithm behind the works, based on considerations such as ‘likes,’ clicks, and time. Every time a painting is sold, the following paintings will change and optimise until the ultimate “Most Valuable Painting”. You can have a try and influence the algorithm behind the works at MVP.ART - we are currently at Generation 449.

Unveiling @randominternational from our Art Dubai Digital series: @aorist.art & @akthrart are happy to present two significant works by the collective: Fragments - a kinetic responsive reflective physical installation; Algorithmic Swarm Studies - a video-installation work that continues the artist's research of the impact of technological development on the human condition and serves as an example of the multiple manifestations that digital art can adopt.

This is not the first time @aorist.art and @athrart work with the amazing duo @randominternational - In December 2022, @aorist commissioned their latest large-scale immersive experience Living Room launched in Miami Art Week 2022 and last month, @akthrart opened their first solo show in Jeddah.

Aorist in Art Dubai Digital 2023

Come join us at @artdubai from March 1-5!
We are excited to partner with @athrart to bring together a selection of works by leading artists in the web3 space: @reisingerandres, @jonaslund, @randominternational, @quayola, @ahaadalamoudi, and @teamlab - all renowned for their innovative use of technology in their respective practices.
The works on display will demonstrate how technology can be used as a tool to break free from conventional artistic methods, creating new and exciting possibilities for artistic expression.

Last weekend to see @quayola’s show at @faenaart project room, Effets de Soir.

Constructing immersive installations, @quayola engages with and re-imagines canonical imagery through contemporary technology. Effets de Soir will continue the artists’ ongoing focus on nature, pictorial traditions and new technological apparatuses.

Building upon the success of their iconic ‘Rain Room’, Aorist premiered Random International’s newly commissioned installation ‘Living Room’ during Miami Art Week 2022.

Over 8,000 visitors queued on mass to enter the immersive, dream-like space where 1,500 ethereal light beams reacted to movements and behavior.

A never-before-seen installation that bridged the physical and digital where visitors could co-create a unique NFT of their experience inside the artwork, merging immersive art and blockchain technology for the first time.

An incredible success thanks to everyone involved, a historic premiere and start of a beautiful journey.

These last few days have been magical. The overwhelmingly positive and emotional responses to the premiere of ‘Living Room’ leave us so excited for what’s next in this journey together with @randominternational.

Last day to experience it today, open until 7pm. A purpose-built pavilion in Miami Beach housing a groundbreaking experience, a dialogue between human and machine.

@quayola employs technology as a lens to explore the tensions and equilibriums between seemingly opposing forces: the real and artificial, the figurative and the abstract, the old and the new. Constructing immersive installations, he engages with and re-imagines canonical imagery through contemporary technology.
