Happy pre Anniversary my love @duncanscholesy @scholesyphotography ❤️ living our best life together!
14 years of marriage, a thousand beautiful memories, and a love I would choose all over again. ❤️

They say a successful marriage is about finding the right person. I believe it’s about choosing that person, time and time again, through every chapter life brings.

We’ve shared laughter, weathered storms, celebrated triumphs and navigated life’s little surprises — sometimes with grace, sometimes with stubbornness, but always together.

Fourteen years have taught me that real love isn’t about perfection. It’s about friendship, loyalty, respect, patience, and having someone by your side who makes even the ordinary moments extraordinary.

You’re still my favourite person, my greatest adventure, and quite possibly the only man who could put up with me for this long… although I do believe you’ve done rather well for yourself! 😉

Here’s to everything we’ve built, everything we’ve overcome, and all the beautiful chapters still waiting to be written.

14 years later, and there’s still no one I’d rather do life with.

Happy anniversary to us, my love. 🥂❤️

🍂 S A M H A I N 🖤

There is something sacred about this time of year…

When the earth begins to shed her layers, the trees surrender their leaves, and nature quietly retreats into her winter slumber.

A season of endings, yet never truly an end.

In ancient Irish tradition, Samhain marks the turning of the wheel, when the veil between the living and the spirit world is believed to grow thin, and our ancestors draw a little closer.

A time to honour those who walked before us, to embrace the beauty in letting go, and to remember that even in darkness, there is magic.

For nature teaches us that we too must shed, rest, and trust in the beauty of becoming again.

To the old ways, the wild earth, and the souls who never truly leave us. 🖤

Blessed Samhain.

“Back in the heart of my motherland, Sweden, where red cottages rest by quiet waters, autumn paints the trees in gold, and every falling leaf feels like a gentle whisper from home. ”

“Even the heavens must break open to make way for the light. So it is with us. We fall apart, we are remade, we rise again. For darkness and light are not enemies, but partners in the sacred dance of existence. And sometimes, what feels like the end of everything is simply life gathering the strength to begin again.”

Every Swedish woman knows… winter boots aren’t an expense, they’re an investment. And darling, we don’t compromise on either warmth or style. 🇸🇪🖤

Stockholm-born, winter-ready, and seriously chic.

As autumn ascends, the fire awakens,
Whispering tales of the ancient earth.
Beneath the horns of ancestral spirits,
The flames dance with death and rebirth.

A season of shadows, of ember and gold,
Of wild souls stirring as the nights grow cold.
Rooted in earth, guided by flame,
We honour the seasons, untamed and unchanged. 🔥🍂 @apache_gold ⭐️ #fire #light #warmth #autumn #2026 by @apache_gold

There comes a point in life when you realise that protecting your peace is more important than pleasing everyone else. 🤍

You stop explaining yourself. You stop feeling guilty for resting, for saying no, for choosing yourself. You learn that not every situation deserves your energy, not every person deserves access to you, and not everything needs a reaction.

You begin to understand that healing sometimes looks like being quiet, stepping back, setting boundaries, and allowing yourself to simply be.

This season of my life is about coming home to myself. Choosing peace over pressure, self-love over self-sacrifice, and a softer life over constantly surviving.

I’ve spent enough time pouring into everything and everyone else. Now, I’m learning to pour into me, too. 🌿

Choosing myself isn’t selfish. It’s sacred. And this time, I’m not apologising for it. ✨

💜 World Arthritis Day — raising awareness, spreading understanding and supporting our invisible illness community.

Yesterday was……….

💜 WORLD ARTHRITIS DAY 💜

Today, I want to shine a light on everyone living with chronic pain, arthritis and invisible illnesses. 🦋

Behind the smiles, the photos and the everyday moments, there can be pain, exhaustion, flare-ups and battles that the world never sees. Just because someone looks okay on the outside doesn’t mean they aren’t struggling on the inside.

Living with an invisible illness can be incredibly isolating. It means learning to live in a body that doesn’t always cooperate, cancelling plans you desperately wanted to keep, pushing through days when everything hurts, and trying to explain something that others may never truly understand.

But today, I want you to know this: I see you. I hear you. I believe you. 💜

To every chronic pain warrior who keeps going, even when it feels impossible. To those fighting battles in silence. To those who are exhausted from having to explain their pain. To those who feel guilty for resting, cancelling plans or putting themselves first — you are not weak, you are not lazy, and you are not alone.

You deserve compassion, understanding, support and kindness. You deserve to be believed, even when your illness isn’t visible. And you deserve a life filled with joy, love and moments that are about more than just managing pain.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, break the stigma surrounding invisible illnesses, and build a community where nobody has to suffer in silence. Because not all disabilities are visible, not all pain can be seen, and not every battle is obvious.

Today and every day, let’s choose kindness, understanding and empathy. 💜

Sending love to everyone who is fighting a battle the world cannot see. You are stronger than you know, and you never have to face this journey alone.

Autumnal 🍂🍁 lunch ideas @apache_gold ⭐️

Roasted Sweet Potatoes:
Supports eye health, immune function, digestion and healthy energy levels.

🍄‍🟫 Mushrooms:
Support normal energy metabolism, immune function and healthy cells. UV-exposed mushrooms can also provide vitamin D.

Spinach:
Supports normal blood clotting, bone health, red blood cell formation and healthy muscles.

Why eating them together is so beneficial?
Heart and blood pressure
Potassium from sweet potatoes, mushrooms and spinach helps maintain normal blood pressure.
Immunity and antioxidants
Beta-carotene, vitamin C and other plant compounds help support normal immune function and protect cells.
Digestion and blood sugar
Fibre supports gut health and can help slow the absorption of carbohydrates. Pairing sweet potato with mushrooms and spinach adds fibre and protein to the meal.
Better nutrient absorption
Adding a little olive oil helps your body absorb fat-soluble vitamins and carotenoids, particularly beta-carotene from sweet potato and spinach.
