Hi, I'm Api – founder of Apameh Studios. From Tehran to Berlin, I bring spaces to life that have character and soul.

I design everything: offices, apartments, hospitality spaces, and museums. For me, every project is an opportunity to create atmosphere, emotion, and the highest quality – with color, materials, light, and great attention to detail.

As an architect, mother, and activist for women's rights in Iran, I believe that spaces can express values. At Apameh Studios, we create spaces that are stylish, functional, and tailor-made for the people who use them.

office - project Haupttelegrafenamt

Transformation of a historic landmark into a forward-thinking workspace.
Located in the heart of Berlin, this former state telegraph office (1916–1986) is reimagined as a contemporary office environment defined by spatial rhythm, material honesty, and functional clarity. Original architectural features meet custom interiors, creating a dialogue between heritage and modern use.

The interior preserves and elevates the building’s industrial DNA.
Concrete vaulted ceilings, exposed brick, and visible steel structures form a raw backdrop, contrasted by warm wood, custom furniture, and mid-century pieces. A movement zone introduces a playful, human-centered layer, while kitchen and meeting spaces become the social core—functional, refined, and inviting.

A true gem in the heart of Berlin. Three apartments were transformed into one bespoke, grand residence – defined by eclectic architecture and a clear, intentional design language.

Refined materials like leather, Italian marble, brass, and a variety of woods come together in perfect harmony.

In collaboration with Dimore Studio, this luxurious home for a family of four feels warm, detail-driven, and like a piece of Italy in Berlin.

residential - project women’s clinic

Conversion of a Bauhaus building from 1928, originally used as a women’s clinic.

Transformation into a combined program of office, salon, and guest room.

The intervention follows the clarity of the existing architecture: precise geometries, minimal interventions, and custom-built elements.

A material and color concept of warm tones, wood, textiles, and brushed metals introduces a layer of softness. Through subtle contrasts and layering, a sense of warmth is added to the originally austere character—without compromising its architectural integrity.

A contemporary interior in dialogue with the existing structure—clear, calm, and functional, with a quiet sense of coziness.

A former Charité women’s clinic completely redesigned: three levels that now serve as an event and hospitality space, guest house, and workspace.

The Bauhaus spirit is complemented by warm wood tones, iconic furniture, and materials you want to touch. Subtle contrasts and loving details create a calm, refined atmosphere—with that typical Berlin look.
