What.A.Concert. Last night at the @930club was to quote @amnthewilderness , “magical”. So much fun from start to finish, including being introduced to @ivorylayne ‘s theatrical piano pop music!

#ConcertRecap coming this week on @chorus.fm .

Had a great conversation with @sammeans and @nateruess of @theformat behind the scenes at @thelincolndc in Washington, DC. I asked Sam/Nate about #BoycottHeaven, their incredible returning album, that released earlier this year. Oh, and Nate Ruess called me old… lol

any other absolutepunk.net veterans out there? what’s your favorite day on the site? The return of blink-182? The time Hayley Williams broke the site? A secret third thing?

@apgrundy of @chorus.fm (fka ap.net) weighs in with his picks.

RIP Chad. 🥺The punk community won’t be the same without you in it. @newfoundglory was my first concert in high school (at RFK stadium for HFStival) and I met you at least 4 different times at Warped Tour + the photos pictured here at the @sg_bmore . Fuck Cancer, and rest easy, @xchadballx . by @apgrundy

INDUSTRY APPROVED ✅

Meet Homecoming, the UK pop-punk crew proving that growing older absolutely does NOT mean growing out of three chords and questionable emotional decisions. On “Caitlin”, they bottle up everything that made us fall in love with pop punk in the first place - huge hooks, heart-on-sleeve songwriting and that perfect hit of nostalgia, without sounding like they’re desperately trying to teleport back to 2003. Catchy, honest and ridiculously easy to shout along to...our knees might hurt now, but apparently pop punk still doesn’t.

This review hits hard. I’ve been an avid reader of Absolutepunk.net and Chorus.fm (@chorus.fm ) for over 20 years. There’s a lot of great music sites out there but to me they’ve always been a cut above. A big reason for that is Adam Grundy (@apgrundy ). His reviews are always so thoughtful, detailed and well-written. You can tell he puts in the time and really digests an album before writing about it.

Adam, thank you for sitting with our album and writing this amazing review!! We appreciate it so much! Oh, and your references are spot on. Fenix TX 4 life!! by @apgrundy
