This review hits hard. I’ve been an avid reader of Absolutepunk.net and Chorus.fm (@chorus.fm ) for over 20 years. There’s a lot of great music sites out there but to me they’ve always been a cut above. A big reason for that is Adam Grundy (@apgrundy ). His reviews are always so thoughtful, detailed and well-written. You can tell he puts in the time and really digests an album before writing about it.

Adam, thank you for sitting with our album and writing this amazing review!! We appreciate it so much! Oh, and your references are spot on. Fenix TX 4 life!!

BAD NEWS: DETROIT SHOW CANCELLED | GOOD NEWS: TOUR MERCH IS ONLINE FOR BANDCAMP FRIDAY

Last night’s show at @gmantavern was awesome and reinvigorated our love for Chicago. Today is decidedly less awesome, as our Detroit show fell through due to health issues for one of the bands. We wish them a speedy recovery. See more on next slide👉🏽

Having an off day on a Friday on tour is a blow, so we’re hoping to soften it by putting our tour merch online at our Bandcamp merch store: careerdayny.bandcamp.com/merch

Our entire digital discography is available for download for $10. Any physical merch purchase comes with free download of “Last Good Day We Get” and stickers. We’ve felt a lot of love lately on the song and on this tour, and are grateful for whatever anyone is willing to help with here.

Looking forward to finishing tour strong this weekend in Columbus and Akron.

Shout out to everyone who has listened and given love. If you haven’t gotten the chance yet, peep the great @apgrundy’s write up on @chorus.fm

“victorious” is now out on all major streaming channels (tidal, apple music, sp*tify, and all the rest). these thoughtful reviews just came in — excerpts here. you can check out each full writeup at each magazine’s respective website. i hope “victorious” helps inspire and motivate, and bring eyes beyond minnesota to the continued occupation and crisis here. i am continuing to share resources with cities outside minnesota so we are all prepared for whatever comes next

Here's the sequel to @TheBrokedowns video saga. Their new album is out this Friday and they have some shows too. 🐺 Cheers to our new probate Adam at @Chorus.FM for sharing his indoctrination footage.

So let's tip the landlord. Worship politicians and influencers. Bring back littering. ICE Lives Matter. Support huge, faceless corporations. Build another megachurch. Let's prove that the assholes in high school were right about everything.

Upcoming shows:

Nov 21 - Chicago, IL @ Burlington Bar
Nov 22 - McHenry, IL @ Siren Records
Jan 10 - Madison, WI @ Gamma Ray Bar
May 16 - Montreal, QC @ Pouzza Fest

Tomorrow, 24 October, @dayseeker release their latest album ‘Creature in the Black Night’ via @spinefarmrecords

“There’s plenty to love on ‘Creature in the Black Night’, a record that has no problem living in the darkness, but still finds its way into the light. Dayseeker do this type of music really damn well, and it pays off for them here.”

This Friday, 24 October, @spiritualcramptv release their new album ‘Rude’ via @bluegrapemusic

”Spiritual Cramp are peaking at just the right moment in their career. ‘RUDE’ is as bold and brash as the title insinuates, and is one of the most pleasant surprises of 2025.”

This Friday, 17 October, @militariegun drop their sophomore album ‘God Save The Gun’ via @lomavistarecordings

”Militarie Gun make hard-hitting music packed with substance. ‘God Save The Gun’ is a remarkable sophomore LP that leans heavily upon the themes of self-growth in a toxic political environment that appears to be stacked against the average person.”
