If God told me the schedule I would have said "I'm good Father, here I am, pick someone else." Thank you Lord for choosing me Inspite myself and getting ME out of way. by @apostlevicscott

SLOWING DOWN TO ACCELERATE

I saw a short clip on this from Dr Anita Phillips.... did some research: Did you know that when you look at the sun, you are actually seeing it as it was approximately 8 minutes and 20 seconds ago? That is how long its light takes to travel across space to reach the Earth.

Here's the revelation that hit my spirit in this season of stillness...... What you are seeing has already been in motion long before your eyes could perceive it.
In other words, by the time you see it, what you are observing is already history.

What is seen of you may already be an outdated version of who you have become. 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

There is an extraordinary power of stillness. Stillness is not necessarily the absence of progress. Sometimes, while everything appears quiet externally, an extraordinary acceleration of becoming is taking place internally.

You may appear to be moving slowly, but you are enlarging in capacity, increasing in wisdom, expanding in understanding, and advancing in dimensions that have not yet become visible.

Consider Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus. To the natural eye, she was doing very little. But in that posture of stillness, she was receiving something that activity alone could never produce.

Her body was seated, but her becoming was advancing.

And perhaps this is what we must understand about certain seasons of our lives. What people are finally seeing may be the evidence of a transformation that has already taken place, while God is presently accomplishing something even greater.

Like sunlight, there can be a delay between what has happened and when it becomes visible.

So please understand, the version of you people are observing may not be the version of you that presently exists.

You have already grown beyond what can be seen.
Do not wait for visibility to validate your progress.
You can be still and still be accelerating.

Selah. Luke 10:38–42...... Shabbat Shalom by @apostlevicscott

Luxury is not merely what surrounds you, but what flows from you. I believe in extravagance, exquisite beauty, exceptional quality, and the unapologetic enjoyment of life's finest offerings. But I also believe that true class is revealed in the elegance of your conduct, the refinement of your speech, the discipline of your emotions, and the dignity with which you treat others. I desire a life abundant in beauty, rich in wisdom, extravagant in generosity, and uncompromising in peace.

Make no apology for loving beautiful things, but insist on the beauty of character to exceed the splendor of your surroundings. by @apostlevicscott

Awww, so saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. To me, he will always be the incomparable Captain Jean-Luc Picard! Yes, I am a Trekkie! His extraordinary acting genius, commanding presence, eloquence, and unmistakable dignity made every role he inhabited unforgettable.

Yet beyond the brilliance of his craft was a beautiful humanitarian legacy. From advocating for survivors of domestic violence and supporting military veterans to championing refugees, human rights, and animal welfare, he used his influence to make a meaningful difference. I especially admire how he transformed the pain of his own childhood into compassion and advocacy for others. What a remarkable reminder that true greatness is measured not only by the excellence of our gifts, but by the lives we touch with them. Wherever he went, his presence was felt. Civic responsibilities..... Early voting ☑️ 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 by @apostlevicscott

Live in the beautiful place where you don't need to prove what God has already established. JUST BE.

You speak with wisdom, move with grace, and carry influence without demanding attention.

You discover that true brilliance is not measured by how many people notice you, but by how much better things become because you were present.

And perhaps one of life's finest luxuries is becoming so secure in who you are that you can genuinely celebrate the brilliance of others without diminishing your own.

There is room for all of us to shine.

You had to BECOME because pretending requires constant maintenance because it depends on an image.

Becoming requires cultivation because it produces substance. Eventually, what you have genuinely developed will require far less explanation than what you have merely attempted to portray.

Happy 62nd Independence Day, Zambia! ❤️

May the Lord bless this great nation over and over again. May her people flourish, her peace endure, and her future shine ever brighter!

Now, my fellow Zambians, what's the celebration looking like? 🇿🇲🎉 What are y'all doing today? by @apostlevicscott

“Where is that beautiful accent from? I hear a little something.”
Zambia. 🇿🇲

Today, Zambia celebrates 62 years of independence, and for 27 years of those 62, living in America, I've understood: sometimes it takes seeing the world to truly appreciate the treasures of where you began. Things I once considered ordinary simply because they were Zambian have become some of the things I treasure most. Our people, the richness of our culture, our traditions, our values, and our resilience. Distance has given me perspective, and perspective has deepened my appreciation for the beautiful country that shaped me.

Being Zambian has made me a better American, and being American has made me a better Zambian..... and together, they have made me a better person. I am not divided between two worlds; I am beautifully enriched by both. Today, I celebrate my people, my heritage, and the land that first taught me how to see the world.

62 years of independence, but a heritage thousands of years in the making.

Happy Independence Day, Zambia! 🇿🇲❤️ by @apostlevicscott
