Heaven, a student at @dm.therrell, did a phenomenal job representing the voice of the students at today’s @apsboe Work Session! Her insights and questions were on point! Heaven lifted the voices of all students and is a big advocate for transportation so students can take advantage of opportunities offered by the district.

Bravo!!

Thank you @mitchellforaps for being Heaven’s mentor throughout this process.

📣 Student Office Hours Are Back This September!

Atlanta Public Schools students: your voice matters, and we want to hear from you.

Student Office Hours with Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson (@apssupt) provide students with a dedicated space to connect, share feedback, ask questions, discuss their school experience, and help shape how we continue improving the student experience across APS.

This September, we’re kicking off another year of meaningful student conversations—and we want YOU at the table.

🗓️ September 8th
📍 via Teams
⏰6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

⭐ High school students can also earn civic service hours! Students who participate in the session and complete an After the Hour Reflection will be eligible to receive service hour credit.

Whether you have an idea, a concern, a question, or simply want to connect with other student leaders, Student Office Hours are your space to speak up, be heard, and help make APS better.
