Honored to have “Contextual” featured on John Digweed’s Live at Twilo, released by Bedrock Records.

I remember my friends showing me Digweed’s music during our first nights out, almost 20 years ago. To now have one of my tracks become part of one of his mixes, and pressed on vinyl, feels very special.

Having it in Digweed’s record collection, connected to Twilo and New York City, makes it even more meaningful. A small tribute to the music that shaped me, and a little piece to leave behind.

Thank you @djjohndigweed , @frankey_and_sandrino and @bedrockrecords @sum_over_histories . 🖤 by @apste_music

Newest Sum Mix is here right in time before we drop some new music. Check out @apste_music 's mix on our SoundCloud, featuring some gems of this year and some unreleased music from his own label.

The scenery accompanying the mix is from Apste's home town Tigre in Buenos Aires. A beautiful sunset at the river Río Luján , marching the whimsical energy ✨ by @apste_music

When John Digweed plays your track 🔊

Around 2008, a friend introduced me to Transitions and a whole new world of music.

Years later, hearing my own music on the show and as part of Live at Twilo is something I never imagined.

Honored to have my track “Contextual” featured on John Digweed’s latest official Bedrock Records release, Live at Twilo.

Originally released on Sum Over Histories, Contextual is now part of this incredible release alongside so many artists I deeply respect.

A huge thank you to @djjohndigweed , @bedrockrecords , and @sum_over_histories for making this possible.

Truly grateful to be part of it. 🖤 by @apste_music

Some tracks stay with you.

@apste_music - Dub Love from Path Integral 3 is still one of our personal favorites. It captures what Sum Over Histories has always been about: deep, emotional electronic music that doesn’t follow trends but creates moments.

Contemporary electronic music for the closed eyes dancers.

The artwork was created using an old Erika typewriter. A simple, tactile process that felt like the right visual translation of the music.

Still timeless. Still close to our hearts. by @apste_music

Release date : June 5th

Contextual marks a new stage of maturity in the universe of Apste. Through hypnotic house grooves, character-driven samples, restrained tension and constantly evolving textures, the release finds a natural balance between introspection and dancefloor energy.
