Cavity Treatment 🦷

🇬🇧 Illustration of the management of a carious lesion on a mandibular molar, starting with selective caries removal assisted by a caries detector (Caries Detector, Kuraray) to identify infected dentin, followed by cavity refinement using @aquacare_. The restoration is then performed according to an adhesive protocol with successive light curing of the different increments (VALO X), composite layering, and occlusal characterization (Stain Flow Brown, Enamel Plus HRI). Fine instruments (LM Fissura) are used to sculpt the occlusal anatomy. Final polishing and glossing (Shiny S Goat Hair Brush Wheel RA) are performed after occlusal adjustment. The aim is to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible while achieving a functional and natural restoration. 🦷✨
