🤍 #uzeacademy #odontologija #kursai #mokymai dantuprotezavimas

🦷 Excellent Irrigation + Reliable Coronal Seal = Game Changers in Endodontics! 🔬 Tooth #25 | Root Canal Treatment & Biomimetic Restoration Long-term endodontic success is not just about cleaning, shaping, and obturation. Effective irrigation, followed by a durable coronal seal, plays a crucial role in protecting the endodontically treated tooth. 💯 🔬 ENDODONTIC PROTOCOL ▪️ NiTi instrumentation: • VBlue R25 for coronal preparation • GF system 25/06 for apical preparation ▪️ Irrigation protocol: • 2% NaOCl • Passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI) Ultra Smart AI Coxo • Saline • 17% EDTA ▪️ Obturation: • Two canals obturated with gutta-percha • Bioceramic sealer: C-Root SP ✨ BIOMIMETIC RESTORATIVE PROTOCOL Following endodontic treatment, the focus shifts to achieving a predictable, well-sealed, and structurally reinforced restoration. 🔹 Aquacare Blue/White — surface treatment 🔹 All-Bond Universal — adhesive protocol 🔹 Kerr resin coating 🔹 EverX Flow D — short-fiber-reinforced composite (sFRC) 🔹 Filtek One Bulk Fill Flowable A3 + Paste A2 🔹 Bioclear Biofit HD matrix 🔹 Strata-G ring Injection Moulding Technique 🔥 Using preheated resin composite in two different consistencies, following the concept advocated by Dr. David Clark, to facilitate controlled adaptation and anatomical reproduction. 🎯 The take-home message: Successful endodontic treatment requires more than a well-obturated root canal. Effective disinfection and a durable coronal restoration must work together to support long-term clinical success. Clean canals. Reliable obturation. Excellent coronal seal. Conservative, biomimetic restoration. 🦷🔬 #AdhesiveDentistry #InjectionMolding Bioclear #Strat-G #GF files NIC

Who said DME is a procedure correlated with indirect restorations? Apparently, in daily practise we are challenged with DO/MO cases where isolation, matrixing and restoration itself are quite a challenge. In those cases where there is sufficient tissues left, I strictly prefer performing a two-stages direct restoration, which includes elevating the deep margin with wedge/matrix band. Note that regular, 360 degrees DME matrix bands could face an obstacle while inserting, because of the cavity topography itself. There’s only one matrix band available, that I came across nearly two years ago by @dr.billgergis , that can tackle such scenarios. Here, I’ve used @rhondium wedges, which are a total game-changer for that technique. An absolute must is the emergence profile itself, which dictates the use of an anatomical matrix after elevating as a second stage to complete the marginal contour and contact area. @garrisondentalsolutions Green ring for adequate matrix grip and this time - simplifying the restoration with @gc.europe.nv Essentia Universal and Ever X Dentin. I’ll share this and a lot more in my upcoming three days course 27/28 and 29 of November in Sofia with @patricia.academy! 🤘

🦷 ENDODONTIC TREATMENT DOESN’T END WHEN THE CANALS ARE FILLED. 🔒 The Coronal Seal Matters. A beautifully prepared and obturated root canal system can still fail if the restoration above it does not provide an effective coronal seal. After endodontic treatment, the definitive restoration should: ✅ Prevent bacterial and fluid penetration ✅ Protect the remaining tooth structure from fracture ✅ Maintain the integrity of the endodontic treatment ✅ Provide a stable, well-sealed coronal environment ✅ Restore function and occlusion as soon as clinically appropriate The root canal filling is only part of the treatment. The long-term outcome depends on the entire restorative–endodontic complex: Clean canals → 3D obturation → Effective coronal seal → Structural reinforcement → Functional restoration 🔬 From a minimally invasive, adhesive perspective, I consider the immediate coronal seal an essential part of endodontic treatment—not an optional final step. Because: A well-treated canal without a good coronal seal is an incomplete treatment. 🦷 Endodontics and restorative dentistry should never be separated. #Endodontics #RootCanalTreatment #CoronalSeal
