@lowtheband COVER SERIES - JOHN PRINE performed by NEW band @buried_or_burned only on @bandcamp Friday

The latest track in the Aqualamb series of covers of the band Low:

A devastating interpretation of the song John Prine from the 2002 record, Trust presented by Providence, Rhode Island's, Buried or Burned

Brian Ulrich says:
"Dan and Mike picked that one. We all listened to the original track for a while, and it seemed like it was all about feeling like a failure. Trying to be an artist and a parent and getting disappointment from all sides. Such a bleak and beautiful song. "

"I was always taken by how dynamic Low was live, like listening to amplified electrical wires, all buzzing but played softly. So, we tried to approach the song like that, with everything very amplified but played gently, very HiFi: the scrapes on the bass strings, or plucking the snare rattles. We also thought that if we could completely reinterpret the song as something darker, epic, and cinematic, maybe Alan would be our audience. We threw in all our tricks, noises, and samples from little kids, etc., and then Laine came in with a haunting, soaring vocal. "

Brian Ulrich (Guitar, Vocals)
Dan Goff (Drums, Sounds)
Laine Rettmer (Vocals)
Mike Lemek (Bass, Vocals)

Recorded, engineered by Buried or Burned and Jeff Ottenbacher @jeffotogo in Livingston Manor, NY, Mixed by Buried or Burned, 2026 Mastered by @carlsaff

The Aqualamb LOW Cover Series honors Mimi Parker and the band Low’s positive influence on the world, featuring a new artist every couple of weeks.

Proceeds from this project will go to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Alliance. taken in Livingston Manor, New York by @aqualambrecords

@rebreather_band Chaos Patterns Preorder now available on @bandcamp Vinyl ships OCT 30. Coloring Book Early DEC.

Going to @emissionsfromthemonolith BUY THE VINYL FROM THE BAND BEFORE OCT 30th ship date! LIMITED QTYS AVAILABLE.

There are moments when the underground stops asking for permission.

Youngstown, Ohio's Rebreather have been quietly accumulating mass. Record after record. Show after show. Chaos Patterns feels like the moment that mass becomes gravity.

This is one of those genre-defining moments when a group forged outside the center suddenly creates something so powerful that its sheer gravity pulls the center toward them. Not because the music becomes safer, but because we are finally ready.

Chaos Patterns arrives October 30 on Aqualamb. Mixed By @andrewschneideraudio , Recorded By @josh_roman724 , Mastered by @carlsaff , Artwork @mikeeganart taken in Westside Bowl by @aqualambrecords

Emily Robb & ER Band + Beware Wolves Live at Van Smokey! Saturday, October 3rd at 8PM.

Emily Robb & ER Band bring raw, experimental rock & roll — hypnotic guitars, psychedelic repetition, noise and distortion that stretch rock music into stranger territory .

Aqualamb Records’ Beware Wolves brings a different kind of trip — freak folk, alt-country and off-kilter Americana built around great songwriting, acoustic guitar and soaring vocals.

Come hungry. Get a drink. Stay for the noise.

Next up in our @lowtheband Cover series is the moody rendition of Everybody’s Song from @arms.armour

“Everybody’s Song” has been a perennial favorite of ours, an earwig whenever we travel and play other places. We’d never formally discussed covering it or any Low song for that matter. But wiith Mimi’s passing, this powerful song crept back into our minds and a cover felt right. Mimi is sorely missed. “
