After 6 and a half years, ARA Experience is closing its doors. 🤍

This has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share, and it took me nearly five months to finally write it.

I’ve shared the honest story behind the decision in the slides: the good, the bad and everything in between.

While this isn’t the ending I imagined, I am so grateful to everyone who has been part of the ARA journey.

On a side note, we don’t want to be left with hundreds of samples so we are selling very beautiful pieces at a heavily discounted price.

A name is a true reflection of how the owners want the world to see their company 💕

Penny and I came up with the name ARA Experience together and it has shaped the way that we run our business! ARA stands for A Refreshing Alternative which is what we try and provide to each and every one of our brides - A Refreshing Alternative to the traditional bridal store experience. Every decision that we have made along the journey has had this in mind and it is why we have so many happy brides!

Who knew that this is what ARA stood for? And do you think we are achieving our goal of providing A Refreshing Alternative to every bride that walks into our showroom?

Vanessa & William at Beresford Estate 🤍

One of my favourite portraits from their wedding day. A little movement, a little direction, and plenty of space for them to simply be themselves.

This is how I love photographing my couples; relaxed and natural, with gentle guidance when you need it, while still creating photographs that feel beautiful, timeless and a little editorial.

A green colour story from Tess & Andrew’s wedding, thanks to the beautiful backdrop of Cobbs Hill Estate in the Adelaide Hills.

Being an early December wedding, the foliage was so lush and the fields hadn’t yet dried out over the hot summer months.

They were really lucky that the weather turned out perfectly warm and a little overcast, making the green colours appear extra vibrant.

I know Tess always dreamed of a beautiful garden style wedding, she loves flowers and growing her own vegetables at home, and her wedding day really spoke to her own personal taste.

The dress code was colourful cocktail dresses and black tie, giving a bright and elevated feel.

The day itself was a combination fun and energetic, heartwarming and romantic, and generally good vibes all round. taken in Adelaide Hills by @araexperience
