A glimpse of the Nails at my Wedding 💅💍

We actually got ready together in the comfort of our own home, we enjoyed Maccas Brekky and lunch together, but when dress time came we had separate rooms and weren’t allowed to peek to see each other. 🫣

Our tea ceremony was more for formalities and so I could eat so much food! 🧧

I cried more in the morning at my ceremony than my actual wedding 😭🤣

I genuinely thought about starting a floral business after my wedding. Still considering it… should I? 👀

Siwan actually lost one of her press ons after the Tea Ceremony, so she hid her other hand the rest of the day 🥲

Client turned friends make me feel so loved and supported, I wish I could have brought all my clients to my wedding day 💖

@djbabytai had my initial monogram on her thumbs, it was so cute!

When @deemonelf first came to me last year, and we found out our wedding was within the same week, I said “I WILL DO YOUR NAILS” and she tried to refuse because I’d be busy with my own wedding prep, but ofc I insisted and did her nails. 💚🖤🧡

A moment for the dress ✨

I’ve never felt more like my body didn’t belong than when I started looking for wedding dresses. Anything that fit wasn’t chic or quite right. Why was everything strapless?? I even tried dresses on at a shop selling a weight loss program sticky taped to their mirror.

I was being fussy but I wanted to look like myself at my wedding. Was it so much to ask to find something that wasn’t bedazzled? Something that was remotely on trend and made me look like a goddess? Apparently yes.

I found someone I could work with to make my dream dress and I don’t think I’ll ever be so completely happy with something for the rest of my life (Blake is ok too I guess).

Grateful to have snuck in just in time to work with Penny and the team at @araexperience.

There’s room for all of it 🤍

The beautifully composed portraits. The serious faces. The ridiculous laughs. The movement, the fashion, the quiet moments and, in this case, a whole lot of pink confetti 💗

That’s what I love about photographing weddings.

I’ll give you direction when it makes the photograph stronger, where to stand, what to do, where the light is beautiful, even when to give me that serious face. And then there are moments where I simply let everything unfold in front of me.
