We’re excited to celebrate ARCAthens Fellow Tariku Shiferaw’s @abstractexit current exhibition, Hulet Semāi (Two Skies) at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno @nevadaart A Joyner/Giuffrida Visiting Artist Program exhibition

Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, raised in Los Angeles, and currently based in New York, his practice engages with the history of painting while continually pushing abstraction into new conceptual territory.

Hulet Semāi (Two Skies) brings together works from Shiferaw’s One of These Black Boys and Mata Semay series.

Originally presented in Oslo and at Femidomen in 2025, the exhibition now expands in Athens to consider cyclical time and our changing relationship with nature.
