You officially have 18 DAYS LEFT. That’s 432 hours. Or 2 weeks and 4 days. However you want to count it, the clock is ticking to get your application in for our 2027 OPEN CALL! Submissions close at 11:59 PM on November 13th, so don’t sleep on it!

Every year, Arch Enemy Arts invites artists to submit new work to our OPEN CALL, seeking fresh new-to-us talent for our annual Spotlight Showcase group show that will open at our gallery in Philadelphia in January 2027. If you think your art matches with the vibe of our gallery (featuring representational, figurative, and narrative drawing, painting, fiber art, and sculpture, with an emphasis on new-contemporary lowbrow, pop surrealism, magical realism, and post-graffiti) we want to see it! Or, if you feel you have an artist friend that would be a great fit, let them know about our call!

Submissions are open to all artists ages 18+, regardless of location. International entries *are* welcome! We accept a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, fibert art, sculpture, printmaking, and collage.

Please note: we not interested in AI art here! Works created using Midjourney, DALL·E, or any other generative AI tools anywhere in process will not be accepted.

The deadline to submit is November 13th, 2026.

FULL DETAILS on exactly how and what you can submit, find the OPEN CALL link in our website menu to find all the submissions guidelines & the application.

Have questions about how or what to submit? Give the guidelines a read *first*, then reach out *via EMAIL* if you can’t find the answers you’re looking for. Please DO NOT DM us. In the past, important questions have gotten buried in comments and DMs, so we’ve turned comments off and will not be responding to DMs. We’re checking our email inbox only, so if you want your questions answered, that’s the way to go.

Pictured here is “The Mirror of Becoming” by @bogdandide, one of the selected works featured in our 2026 Spotlight Showcase. by @archenemyarchives

All that glorious texture in the flowers and fur? It started on a slab of limestone.

“Save/Savage” by Paul Romano @workhardened is a rare stone lithograph, made using a fine art printing technique that dates back to the late 1700s. The artist draws directly onto the stone, then the surface is chemically treated and inked before each impression is pulled through a press.

The beauty is in how much of Paul’s hand carries through to the paper, like in the ruffly flowers and delicate whiskers, with deep, rich blacks like a charcoal drawing.
Save/Savage is and edition of 25, signed and numbered by the artist on 15” x 11” cream Magnani Pescia paper with a natural deckled edge. Only four left.

Order now through October 31 for half-off domestic shipping on all of our prints at archenemyarts.square.site or visit the @archenemyarts boutique at 109 Arch Street, Philadelphia by @archenemyarchives

A little @bea.bastet appreciation post featuring some of the beautiful work we currently have available. Beatriz’s work takes inspiration from dreams, fragmented memories, Victorian horror, and childhood fantasy, creating a unique painting and sculpture style that is romantic, surreal, intricate, and instantly recognizable as her own. We’ve been showing her work since 2023 and are proud to have presented three of her solos in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

1. “Stasis” (2025)
2. “The Observer” (2026)
3. “Mind Garden” (2025)
4. “The Seeker” (2025)
5. “Ode To Feeling” (2026)

All available works are eligible for our layaway and payment plan options, and can be ready to ship worldwide right away. DM, email, or visit her artist page here:

Here’s a few available favorites from the incredibly talented Philly-based artist @jkressley.art 🌟 Jordan works in chalk pastel over deep black backgrounds and somehow uses her magic to make feathers, petals, wings, and all kinds of tiny natural details look like they’re glowing. She also expertly mats and frames all of her work herself. We’ve been showing her work since our 2020 Open Call and are always excited to see what she’s going to create next. You can check out all of these available works from her inventory page on our website here:

Throwing it back to @erikmarksandberg’s incredible “Pollen” painting from our BRINGS MAY FLOWERS exhibition. Every time we get lost in this piece we’re reminded just how insane Erik’s command of texture really is. Photos barely scratch the surface. At 31” x 25” x 2”, this is perfect size painting for anchoring an entire room. Swipe for details. DM or email for more info. by @archenemyarchives

This is “Gathering Tension” (acrylic on birch, 16" x 20") by @jakemessing. 🍊🌼
It's the last remaining work from his 2023 AEA solo, ADAPTATION, and one of only a handful of Jake’s paintings currently available through the gallery. This one was a personal favorite here at Arch Enemy Arts since it arrived. DM/email for details, or head to his artist page at:
archenemyarts.com/ap-jakemessing

Bonus content: Jake was also recently featured by @thisiscolossal, with a great writeup on his work. We’ll share the direct link in stories. by @archenemyarchives
