A LITTLE THROWBACK! 🧱✨

A kitchen project we were involved with a few years ago in Angmering, West Sussex, and one that still looks just as good today!

The kitchen itself was installed by others, but our team carried out all the preparation works, including installing the brick slips supplied by @thebricktileco , LED lighting supplied by @arcled_ _ , and all the finishing decoration.

We love how the exposed brickwork and warm lighting work with the dark kitchen units. A really nice combination that hasn’t dated at all.

A lovely project to have been part of.

Lighting was never going to be something we thought about at the end. From the outset, it was designed as part of the architecture.

We used concealed LED lighting profiles from @arcled_ throughout The Barn House to define edges, wash walls and create the feeling that some of the heavier elements — particularly the concrete — are almost floating.

The aim wasn’t to fill the house with light. Quite the opposite. It was about putting light exactly where it was needed and allowing the architecture, materials and shadows to do the rest.

The continuous LED lines at floor level draw you through the building, while concealed lighting picks out the Douglas fir, concrete and recessed details without the light source itself becoming the feature.

It’s one of those details that can seem relatively insignificant on a drawing, but completely changes how a space feels when it’s built. I always wanted the option that the whole barn can just be illuminated by LED only which helps creates a certain mood that’s both warm and sexy yet feels cool. I think we achieved this?

Good lighting doesn’t just help you see the architecture.

It becomes part of it.

A little kitchen lighting upgrade.

Two lengths of @arcled_ COB LED strip installed beneath these kitchen cabinets, housed in micro aluminium profiles with opal diffusers to soften the light & reduce reflections on the polished worktop.

Controlled using a @tlc_direct Quinetic wireless grid switch fitted neatly into a @scolmore_group Click Deco matt black switch to match the existing accessories, meaning no chasing, no damage & no mess at all!

A simple addition that completely transforms the worktop area. taken in Wysall, Nottingham, United Kingdom by @arcled_

Clean lines. Seamless light.

ARC-PB creates a beautifully flush finish, allowing the illumination to become part of the architecture rather than simply an addition to it.

A subtle detail with a striking result.

⚡ SCEPTRE NETWORKING | SOMERTON

A real pleasure to have been involved in this project, delivering the electrical installation for @sceptrenet newly refurbished offices.

A great client to work with from start to finish, and we’re really pleased with how the finished space has come together.

The lighting is a real standout feature, combining suspended linear fittings, feature LED lighting and architectural details throughout the new workspace.

Thanks to @ansell_lighting for providing the lighting design and @arcled_ for the feature LED products.

Always great to team up with @nectarelectrical

Another project we’re proud to put the Relay name to. ⚡
