WHAT’S UP AREA III !!!!!!!!!!!!!

These past couple of days, our officer team had a blast attending the 2026 Area Officer Training!!! This event grew each officer as a leader, and strengthened the bond they each have for Louisiana FFA!! Whether it was developmental workshops, or thrilling team activities, the time spent there was CEREAL-ously amazing!!!

Area III, what a privilege it is to be along side you!!

Whether it was at a water slide, dressed as emotions from Inside Out, or partaking in developmental workshops, our officer team had an absolute blast at the 2026 Area III Leadership Camp! We are so grateful for the memories and connections made throughout this camp, and hope to continue growing LAFFA with those very connections, so thank you so much Area III for an amazing time!

Thank you so much to the state officer team for putting on such an amazing Leadership Camp, it truly wouldn’t have been the same without each of them!

FFA gave me a place to belong before it ever gave me a title. That’s why serving as your 2026-2027 Area III President means so much to me. A few years ago, I put on a blue jacket without realizing how much it would change my life. Through FFA, I’ve found lifelong friendships, incredible opportunities, lessons that have shaped me, and a place where I could truly be myself. Being elected to serve a second term as an Area Officer is an honor that I don’t take lightly. I am incredibly humbled by the trust placed in me and beyond grateful for every person who has encouraged, challenged, supported, and believed in me along the way. FFA has given me far more than I could ever repay, and I am excited for another year of serving the organization that has given me so much. I can’t wait to meet new members, make new memories, and serve the students of Area III alongside an incredible officer team. Thank you for this opportunity. What is up Area III!!! My name is Ty Duhon and I’m proudly serving as your 2026-2027 Area III Vice President!!
   A couple of facts; I’m from the big GL aka “The Lake” iykyk, going into my junior year of high school, my little sister and I serve on our chapter officer team together, where she serves as JR VP and I serve as President, I’m involved in various clubs in my school like STUCO, NHS, 4H, and Jr Leaders, and I show cattle and play baseball as hobbies!!
   Something I do inside of FFA is I compete on our Livestock Evaluation team and compete in Prepared Public Speaking where I recently placed 2nd in the state!!
   I’m a very faith oriented person so I’m going to give yall a verse and explain it. Philippians 2:3-4, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” I see this as putting others before yourself and that’s what I want to do with Area III. Value all members and connect with each and every one of you guys!!

Hello!! My name is Rebecca Wulf and I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to serve as your 2026-27 Area III secretary!! I am currently a senior at Crowley High School and serving as my chapters Treasurer. In FFA I’ve competed in conduct of chapter, creed speaking, parliamentary procedure, meat ID, opening ceremonies, soil evaluation, and showing swine and poultry. This organization has shaped me into the person I am today, it’s given me a voice and confidence and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Outside of FFA I am very active in my school I am currently serving as secretary for our educators rising club I’m also active in 4-H as well as national honors society. Throughout high school I’ve played softball, was a manager for volleyball and football, active in BETA, FCA, and drama/theater club as well as our livestock team. I am a leader in my schools Jesus club and make my own lessons to teach to them during lunch once a week. One thing that I love doing is serving in my church as much as I can. It’s such a blessing to spread the joy of the Lord to as many people as I can! In my free time I like to go to Bible study’s and hang out with my friends. I love meeting new people and I hope to be remembered as a person who stays positive and was able to shine her positivity to other people. I am passionate about everything I do and I always strive to work hard and never give up because that’s where true success comes from.

Area three this year I will strive to be a dedicated leader and work hard with whatever task I am given. I hope to connect with each and every one of you and I hope I can spread as much joy as possible. I thank the Lord for the opportunity that he has given me and I know he put me in this position for a reason. Life’s too short to be anything but happy!

Hey Louisiana FFA!!
My name is Thea Demary and I’ll be serving as your 2026-2027 Area III Treasurer! As happy as I am to serve in this position I also serve the Jennings FFA as chapter Secretary!
Going into my journey for FFA I chose an important goal to shape my life and others. This goal being to serve a greater purpose than myself, and I cannot be more grateful to live this out for the amazing members in the Area 3 Federation!
A little bit about me is that I enjoy participating in many Leadership Development Events including Creed speaking, Conduct of Chapter Meetings, and recently Gulf of Mexico speaking! I also enjoy studying anything animal science related along with livestock judging! If you don’t find me in the Ag classroom you can find me working with my swine production SAE, jamming out to some music, reading a good book, or simply hanging out with my family!
All in all that’s enough about me but I cannot wait to advocate for and meet you all this year! by @area3federation

HELLO LOUISIANA FFA!!!

My name is Jake Morgan, and I will be serving as your 2026-2027 Area III Reporter. I am proudly starting my 4th year as a member of the Midland FFA chapter, where I am very grateful to serve as the 2026-2027 chapter President!

I’ve developed myself through competitions such as Land Judging, Poultry, Creed Speaking, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and Extemporaneous Speaking! It is safe to say that not a single one has been easy, but all of them have contributed to building the person I am today. Outside of FFA, I stay very involved within my school. I am blessed to be able to play baseball (GO REBELS!), participate in drama/theater, be an active leader within FCA, serve as the 26-27 Student Council Vice President, as well as the Sr. Beta President! When I’m not pouring my time into any of those things, I enjoy dedicating myself to playing my guitar, and strengthening my faith in our Lord ✝️. But most of all, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family! I wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for the people around me, and the support they constantly give!

A few times I’ve been asked, “Are you not scared?” and the answer is, I am! Fear will never leave us, no matter how many times we do something. Being afraid is human nature, but that does not mean we need to live within its restraints!! Go out, and do what makes you scared! Often times, those very experiences are what grows your character, and develops who you are.

Louisiana FFA gave me the confidence in my voice, and has shown me that NOTHING is too far for me to reach! Words can not describe just how much FFA has grown my character, and the appreciation I have for everything around me. With that being said, I will try my absolute hardest to represent Area III with the same passion and love it has instilled within me!
