Area III Colt Conference!!💚💚

A letter from our Area III Federation President Austin Bruchhaus: What a fun and eventful day! Gosh Area III never fails to impress me. At the 2026 COLT conference we took part in multiple workshops that helped develop leadership skills, as well as allow members to get hands on experience. But we didn’t just take part in workshops, we created connections, made new friends, and most importantly shared a few laughs. I firmly believe that it’s those things; The little things we will all look back on and appreciate the most, and I’m so thankful Area III has given me that opportunity. The opportunity to have a part in those moments.

Thank you all again for coming, being attentive, and most importantly bringing THE Area III Energy!

“Remember the world isn’t just happening to you; You are happening to the world”

AREA OFFICER TRAINING 2026!!! I had the absolute honor of attending the area officer training at Camp Grant Walker last week and let’s just say an absolute BLAST was an understatement!! Not only did I get to goof off with my Area officer team but the bonding time I had with areas 2,3 and 4 will not go forgotten. Here’s to making sure WE have a good year of facilitation, leading, and most importantly BEING INCLUSIVE!!!

Another camp, another 3 days full of unforgettable memories. 💙🌽

Area III Leadership Camp was extra special because this area will always feel like home. Getting to spend these past few days with the chapters, making memories, sharing laughs, and watching everyone grow as leaders made this experience one I’ll never forget.

So grateful for Area III and all the people who make it feel like home. I can’t wait to see what each of these chapters and their members accomplish throughout this year! 💙💛 #enlightenlaffa

Congratulations to Kenna on earning a National Silver Emblem in the FFA Veterinary Science Proficiency Award area!

Competing at the national level is an honor in itself, and earning a Silver Emblem places her among the top proficiency award recipients in the NATION!

We are incredibly proud of her accomplishments and her representation of the Vinton FFA chapter and the state of Louisiana!

Four areas. One purpose. Countless memories.

Area Officer Training was an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare alongside leaders from all four areas of Louisiana FFA, and our state officers. From leadership workshops to unforgettable moments with friends, every part of this week reminded me why serving this organization is such an honor.

The cereal theme made it even more fun, and I was proud to represent Area III as Raisin Bran.

I’m thankful for everyone who made this week so meaningful, and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store as we serve the members of Louisiana FFA together.

Here’s to a year of growth, service, and making an impact. 💙💛
