HARVARD CALLING!

ARE WE ON CAMPUS ? YES WE WERE — featuring special guests: @mslaurynhill , @ghettogray / @ghettogastro and Scott Malkin / @thebicestercollection @ubsarena

A few months ago, I got a call if I’d be interested in giving a talk at the Harvard Business School @harvardhbs sharing my journey and experiences in hospitality, sensory branding, storytelling through experience and of course @areweonair

Honored doesn’t begin to cover it — but I had one condition: we do it the ‘AWOA?’ way. The more knowledge we can share and bounce off each other the better.

Entertainment and Education in an engaging way has always been the foundation of AWOA. We’re just sharing the access to people, stories, music, and culture, online and IRL.

So, with a little help from my friends, we turned this one hour class into a several hour long and engaging conference — covering everything from entrepreneurship, creative journeys, setbacks, community and purpose!

I was hoping to create an impact with this and I believe we did.. a full house for hours, smart questions and an amazing atmosphere.

A big thank you to my friends and guest speakers Jon Gray and Scott Malkin for giving us an insightful view into their businesses and knowledge. And of course a big thank you to our surprise guest my dear: Ms. Lauryn Hill for sharing her wisdom and beautiful magic with us, it was truly an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Home sweet home.

With Villa Air opening its doors this fall I thought I’d offer a little glimpse into my world as a little preview of the atmosphere and curiosities that have inspired this next chapter.

KIOSK-O-THÈQUE CLOSING PARTY !?

After nearly three years, it’s time.
The lease is up. The bulldozers are humming.

No sadness here - we’re expanding! Next Door with: “VILLA AIR” ! (opening soon)

So we’re going out the only way we know with a Block party! Friday during Frieze Feb 27th, 7–10PM

A once-derelict newsstand in L.A., transformed into a global cultural hub. An adventure that traveled further than we ever imagined. So proud. So grateful!
