Why are we living?
If not for love, freedom to exist, and growing with our surroundings.
Some days I wonder what we’ve made of ourselves. Control freaks, manipulative, always trying to bog someone down, hurt someone, or just thinking of our own benefit.
And then I come to my farm, @theweekendfarmerpali
And everything pauses.
We harvested the first mangoes this season.
Kids learnt underwater skills.
We painted car tyres and sowed flowering plants.
@mohithussein and lil @arhamhussein built a lotus pond from scratch with their bare hands!!
I could swim non stop for 45 min with noone to disturb.. no phones, no sounds of traffic, no deadlines, no viciousness, no worry of “handling” something… just immersive sounds of nature! Insects, birds, water.
I can’t think of any better way to live. by @arhamhussein

But on a serious note, kids learn by watching far more than they learn by preaching. So here I an, raising a little man who will always believe in fitness as a way of life. But more importantly, the concept of nothing being impossible and also, the strength of women. by @arhamhussein

My little @arhamhussein went to the beautiful city of Varanasi with @mohithussein and had the most amazing stay at @guleriakothi
It’s amazing how the littler the eyes, the bigger the dreams in them! When he came back he couldn’t stop talking about everything he experienced! Like he’s visited the 7 wonders of the world! Whether it was the welcome stole he received, or the mac n cheese, or the small aarti at the property itself.. he showed me every video he shot there and said, “mama now wait n see what will happen!”
Isn’t it the worst when you miss a holiday with your LO? Ab kyun miss hua mat poochhna.. bas itna pray karo ki next time na miss ho!

The long weekend came with a lot of activities!!
Working from home while @arhamhussein clicked my pictures, @areezahussein reading for us, also showing off her flexibility 🤦🏼‍♀️, games played in the house, Eid celebrations with family and of course.. gym! Not to mention lil Arham’s bad singing (and loud AF) and the coaster I crocheted (I could’ve used better colours though)
Today feels like Monday and I don’t like this Monday coz it puts an end to all the fun I had in the last 3 days!

Had fun with the kids at the beach ⛱️ on Sunday morning. Luckily the sky was overcast and the weather was pleasant. We live so close to the ocean but seldom do this. To more beach time in the future.
