Maybe the good life was never about having more.
Maybe it was always about needing less.
Peace. Time. People you love. And a little sunshine.

Why are we living?
If not for love, freedom to exist, and growing with our surroundings.
Some days I wonder what we’ve made of ourselves. Control freaks, manipulative, always trying to bog someone down, hurt someone, or just thinking of our own benefit.
And then I come to my farm, @theweekendfarmerpali
And everything pauses.
We harvested the first mangoes this season.
Kids learnt underwater skills.
We painted car tyres and sowed flowering plants.
@mohithussein and lil @arhamhussein built a lotus pond from scratch with their bare hands!!
I could swim non stop for 45 min with noone to disturb.. no phones, no sounds of traffic, no deadlines, no viciousness, no worry of “handling” something… just immersive sounds of nature! Insects, birds, water.
I can’t think of any better way to live.

He believes I can lift a mountain and I wanna keep it that way 😛

But on a serious note, kids learn by watching far more than they learn by preaching. So here I an, raising a little man who will always believe in fitness as a way of life. But more importantly, the concept of nothing being impossible and also, the strength of women.

There’s food.
Then there’s food for the soul.
That’s @noshe__jaan

Never have I ever experienced so much variety, so much authenticity in flavours, so many tales behind recipes and so much love for the sheer joy of feeding someone.
@neerushaa_nikhat your courage has my respect, and your food curation has my heart. ♥️

Love love.

What a colourful life I have!

Constructive family time, beach, skating classes, school annual day, mom’s visit, nephew.. and working out, work!

It’s amazing how many things we can combine in a single week.. hell a single day!

No matter how you feel in the moment.. that you failed at doing something, or you could’ve done it better.. or more.. just one glance at your week gone by will make you realise that it was enough.. more than!

What’s more important?
Simple things or lavish ones?
Happiness or loads of wealth?
Health or yummy food?

Mud on their hands, sunshine on their faces, and lessons for life in every little chore.
Because a few days on a farm shape children in ways screens never will.

#christmas is a time to celebrate the year gone by and new dreams and aspirations.. but more than that it’s a time to bring a smile to the faces of the ones you love.
Thank you @shillong_heritage_club Tripura Castle for allowing me to do that with my family!
Being a Santa is no mean feat, but with your help, I was able to achieve that!

To my lovely community, who’s wish did you make true my being their #santa ?
