Stolen Velour, FLOCO & Aria SL: on the front page of the Music section on The Guardian today.

“Stolen Velour, FLOCO and Aria SL filling the club chest-high with liquid: you hear elements sink, dissolve, or float past serenely on the surface.”

Many thanks to @hwfm for the support.

✿ [LOFS037] Aria SL, Daniel Ball - Don’t deserve it & I fell so hard (feat. eleu) ✿

@__danielball__ and @aria______sl return to LOFS with a high-energy double single written with two things in mind – summer and festival sound systems. Laced with a heavy pop sensibility, ‘Don’t deserve it’ and ‘I fell so hard’ (featuring LOFS family member @_eleu__ ) are engineered for maximum dancefloor impact.

The release thrives on a precise, distinctive balance. The sub-heavy, technical production takes its cues from Daniel Ball’s affinity for sound system culture, acting as a heavy counterweight to Aria SL’s enduring obsession with artists like Justin Bieber, channeling anthemic and unforgettable hooks.

1. Don’t deserve it
2. I fell so hard (feat. eleu)

Introducing Aria SL (@aria______sl), who’s been a key part of NOT OK since we threw our first party. She’s returning to the lineup this year with her signature hybrid set of vocals, club and pop + ₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.

A classically trained singer, songwriter & DJ, Aria SL navigates the intersection between club and pop music. She’s performed & scored music for institutions like the Southbank Centre (for futuretense) and Palais De Tokyo (for Yenesai’s SS25 runway show), and played with collaborators FLOCO + Stolen Velour across the UK & Europe (The White Hotel, Ormside Projects, La Station, Kiosk Radio). With a growing discography on Illegal Data and LOFS as well as her Future Pop residency on NOODS Radio, Aria SL continues to establish herself as a multidisciplinary artist, earning early support from BBC Radio 6 and Nina Protocol.

Next Wednesday (8th July) I will be performing @spanners.club for Stolen Velour, FLOCO & I’s album launch show <𝟑 .ᐟ

Working alongside @stolenvelour__ and @floco_rj on this collaborative record has been wonderful for many reasons but 4 one in particular – with so much of the way we exist online / across music etc. being rooted in individuality and the exhausting ‘contentification’ of everything, it is genuinely a magical feeling to put out some music that’s a result of three people getting in a room together, playing music live + working out how to make more of it despite not having some set in stone moniker/alias/band-name etc. to get behind for branding purposes.

I feel proud + honoured to be able to play yet another show with my wonderful friends around a year or so after we released our first EP Holdfast. This LP repurposes a bunch of the material we first worked on for club contexts, so I’m looking 4ward to sharing it next week with opera melodies in tow.

The show is alongside AMY and Lol K - tickets @ link in bio & shoutout @illegal_data for all you’ve done to support us 𓃵 by @aria______sl
