here’s a lil process vlog from my first round of sea glass experiments !! ~~

i call this a process video and *not* a tutorial because watching back this footage i realized maybe i should’ve been wearing gloves and some eye protection when handling broken glass hahaha

but i really love how these came out ! one thing i didn’t talk about in this vid was that i also glazed each one of the bowls in diff colors, and i love how differently the vibes change 💎

all of these bowls have actually now sold but i’m definitely gonna make more in the new year <3

one of my favorite experiments i’ve done in ceramics so far !!

really love the way these pieces turned out <3 also got rly excited to share these in my most recent drop and all of my faves sold out already 🥹 except for the broken piece in black with blue glass — i’m gonna try to just glue the rim back in one piece and just keep that for myself hehe

definitely want to make more of this! what color scheme did you like the most?

where i get my ceramic inspiration from 🪸🐠🤿 best kind of artist date to fill the well ~~

almost forgot how much i love freediving cuz i usually choose to go surfing instead hahah. but always a fun time to go sightseeing underwater and just feel totally enveloped by mother ocean <3

had so much fun diving this day with long fins (i usually just use my heavy scuba fins) and going down to 20m/65ft ! i’m actually not certified i kinda just taught myself lolz but i think maybe next summer i wanna do it. wanna see if i can reach 100ft 🤭

love love loveee how this baby turned out !! the darker clay is so so pretty i almost wanna keep it unglazed hahah. but i’ll need to glaze it to be able to put some flowers in it 🌺🪸🌸

i don’t usually make handles so i was a bit worried about how big these were, but honestly it wasn’t too bad attaching them ! i let the handles harden up a bit (left them sitting in plastic overnight) before scoring and slipping them to attach. fingers crossed everything fires just fine ~~

a few of my friends said the handles also remind them of a uterus which i love 🦋 also peep the new studio shelves !! so in love <3

kinda leaning towards the handles but i’m thinking of adding some surface texture to them as well to match the body of the vase ! but also it would be much easier to leave it as is lol i don’t think i’ve ever made handles this big before. i’m a bit scared they’ll break or something
