Screaming, crying, throwing up. I’m running the NYC Marathon this fall. I have always said “if I tell you I’m running a marathon it’s a cry for help 🤪 and I’m not mentally well” la la la oops

But for real, it’s not lost on me what an honor and privilege it is to be able to run this race. I feel even luckier that I get to fundraise for such an amazing organization like Camp Korey!!

I’ve attached my fundraising link in my bio and would truly appreciate any and all support you can give. I’m so lucky to be surrounded by so many incredible humans and I’m so excited to see what we can accomplish over the next 6-7 months. If I can run a marathon you can run one. I fell in love with this sport a little over a year ago and I’m so grateful for all the community and lessons it’s brought me so far. We peaked 📈 !! Cannot believe I ran my first 20 miler and enjoyed it. 42.2 total miles on the week and hit 5/5 runs + pt + mobility & Hyrox. Watching everyone run Chicago today was incredibly surreal. In just 3 weeks I’ll be in NYC ready to toe the line. Now we taper and focus on staying healthy -> oh but first let’s go to Disneyland 😜 #nycmarathon #firstmarathon #peakweek #runner by @arialeeceknight

6 weeks out. I struggled this week and I’m not always the best at admitting that. This season with two kids is insane + being deep in the trenches of training has tested me. My fatal flaw (or superpower) is showing up and somehow getting it done when all odds are against me. My LR was maybe the hardest and worst run I’ve ever had despite nailing my splits and workout. This is why social media is so hard. You see the good, the fits, the splits but behind the scenes you never know what’s going on. Lighter load in my personal life this week and focusing on sleep and recovery, staying mentally strong and showing up the best I can. 7 weeks till NYC 🫪 October’s like next week which means the race is basically here. The mind manipulation you have to do to not overthink how many damn miles you’re running should be studied. Nearly 40 miles this week and the clock resets tomorrow morning. Mondays really hit hard during training SOS. Who wants to run with me this week?!

Someone asked me if I was going to cry on the first day and I said no, welp I cried after drop off 🤣. There’s just something about the start of a new year & realizing how fast time flies.
