Finding inspiration in my everyday is my new Pinterest board 🎨

I recently went to the sweetest mixology class at @4rootsfarmcampus in Orlando, and these mocktails were way too pretty to just disappear into my camera roll.

So I painted them instead.

I’ve been trying to find more ways to make creativity part of the life I’m already living, and I think this might be the start of something new:

Orlando, in Watercolor

Painting my way through the places, little details, food, drinks, and moments around Orlando that I want to remember.

Consider this episode one. 💛

that planner you abandoned mid-year? it’s not judging you.

a good chunk of mine is empty too and I love that it shows I was busy being present. now I’m back to documenting the little days and it feels really good💛

Creating with zero expectations, just wonder and playful curiosity💛

Building a whimsical watercolor world for my future children’s book during nap times, bedtimes and any other time I get. Follow along as this mom artist turns tiny drawings into a kidlit story.

A journal to hold what I love: museum visits, artists I’m learning about, and little notes along the way. Because I’m tired of staying stuck in my camera roll😅

before putting pen to paper in my @hobonichi_global weeks I’m asking myself a few questions;

- what do I want more of?
- what am I actually cultivating?
- what will I want to remember when I look back at the year?
- does this support or add to my to-do list?

what are you asking yourself before you dive into your planner?

Orlando in Watercolor pt 2 🎨

I painted the treasures my daughter chose at @rubysungifts in Longwood, a wooden flying pig and a @mailegusa pumpkin carriage.

I love letting her curious picks guide what I paint. It’s such a simple way to remember this season together.

What should we paint next?

creating in the margins🎨

no perfect setup, no uninterrupted afternoon, just making a little room for creativity in the middle of regular life. lately I’m realizing those little pockets count just as much. 💛

This week has been a whirlwind of balancing motherhood, building and managing @stucktogetherevents, and finding the margins of time for myself💗

Here are some affirmations and reminders that have kept me grounded this week during all the commotion.
