‘Roll the Dice’ is out everywhere!

writing this song made me think about what got me making music in the first place. my fiance had a friend coming to visit who studied music production. he had the idea to go into a recording studio while he was here and my boss at the time just happened to own one, so we booked a session.

i still think about how cool it felt to be in a studio for the first time. i had no plans to record anything but in the spur of the moment i jumped into the booth because i didn’t know when i’d get the chance again. the song i made that day was no where near something i was ready to share but the feeling of singing the words and melodies i heard in my head was exhilarating! i knew i wanted to do it again.

and after lots of trying, failing, writing, and learning i went into the same studio four years later to record this song :)

i couldn’t be more grateful for the people i’ve met along the way who have changed my life in more ways than they could ever know, and a special thanks to those supporting my passion while i explore the possibilities.

‘Roll the Dice’ is a song about being open to new possibilities. I’m someone who believes a new beginning could be around any corner, whether it’s someone you meet, or an unexpected turn you take, a new chapter could be starting for you at any moment. I think that when you make yourself open to new experiences, you’re giving yourself the gift of possibility. In my opinion, possibly brings positive change, and when you welcome change into your life, you’re welcoming things like love, passion, creativity, and community into your life as well. Every step you take, every place you go, every person you meet all have the potential to change your life. And change can be both terrifying and exciting but at the end of the day, it always makes us better! Change makes us grow, learn, and adapt. I hope when you listen to ‘Roll the Dice’, it makes you more open to the possibilities right around the corner.
