-Do people always say your music should be on TV?
-Have you missed out on royalties that you don’t know how to collect?
-Do you want to collab with other artists who are serious about their craft and on their way to the top?

[Refrain]
And while the people sleep
Too comfortable to face it
His life’s so incomplete
And nothing can replace it
And while the people sleep
Too comfortable to face it
Your life’s so incomplete
And nothing can replace it

[Verse 2]
Fret not thyself I say
Against these laws of man
‘Cause like the Bible says:
His blood is on their hands

[Chorus]
And what I gotta say
And what I gotta say, is rebel
While today is still today, choose well
And what I gotta say, is rebel
It can’t go down this way
Choose well, choose well, choose well

Whenever I think about what they did to him… or how heartbroken his family must be… I either get really pissed or I start sobbing. 💔 #nolanwells #blackoutfornolan #imsotiredofthisfuckingshit by @ariel.verses

Kinda chic to speak up so you will consequently attract opportunities and relationships that align and repel the ones that would only shrink, stifle, and drain you. ;) by @ariel.verses

This is my submission for the @berkleeonline sync contest! I think this song fits because it’s very emotionally resonant and reflective. It’s a bit melancholy but a bit hopeful. While it’s not an instrumental (😉), the instrumentation and gorgeous vocal melody are particularly well-crafted and feel suitable for the clip. The timing of the phrasing works well with the angle changes as well. I also thought of it immediately because the lyrics mention “winter” and being “alone.” This gives the clip a backstory, like the person in the clip is on a mental or spiritual journey that involves more than just skiing. I look forward to hearing what you guys think! by @ariel.verses
