I think I’m living my wildest dream.
Studio Tropical was born from the desire to create a space for imagination, communion and the arts—from a culinary perspective. And somewhere in the process, I understood something about myself: I am an artist before I am a chef, and Caribbean before I am Colombian.
This space has allowed me to explore my identity while building the life I actually want to live, in an industry that is transitioning and redefining hospitality. Thank you to the Rosewood Foundation for helping me understand that redefining can be one of the most important moments in an industry that needs change.
To my imperfect but powerful business partner, who believed in the vision and worked the numbers while I was dreaming: look what we created. ❤️
To my dear Puty Agency and everyone who brought their ideas, expertise, hands and love into this space—you know who you are. It really takes a village. My loyalty and love are forever.

Every Friday + Saturday.
One table. 10 seats.
Every Wednesday, I ride my motorcycle to the farmers market and choose what inspires that week’s menu. I grab some wine and fresh coconuts, come back to the studio, blast my favorite music, and cook alongside people who have supported me from the beginning.
The menu becomes a sketch of the week: the farmers market, ingredients from the tropical belt of the world, my Caribbean memories, and whatever is inspiring me at that moment.
After spending such a long time looking for myself, there is something beautiful about realizing that maybe I was building her all along.
And to the cooks, artists, storytellers, photographers, filmmakers and dreamers who want to create around food:
this space is yours, too.
Come cook. Shoot. Gather. Experiment.
