“We are the legacy.”

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, encourage us, and celebrate our passion. Your love and kindness never go unnoticed. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by people who believe in the power of dance to educate, inspire, unite communities, and keep our heritage alive. Folklórico is more than a dance it’s a story and a legacy. 🤍🩵❤️

Thank you @derekflodmand for capturing these beautiful moments and for helping us share our love for folklórico throughout the university and beyond. Your work allows our culture, traditions, and passion to be seen and appreciated by so many.📸 by @aries.kimi

Closing this chapter with a full heart ♥️

My four years with the Pride of New Mexico Marching Band have officially come to an end, and my heart is so full. Being part of the Folklórico program since the very beginning since the moment it was first brought into the marching band has been one of the most beautiful and unique experiences of my life.

I’ve had the privilege of making incredible friends, building an amazing team, and working alongside powerful, talented, and passionate ladies who inspired me every single day. I’ve also had the honor of learning under leaders who truly love what they do, and their dedication shaped all of us in the best ways possible.

Thank you to everyone who believed in me, danced with me, supported me, pushed me, and shared this journey with me. I’m proud of everything we created together, and even prouder to leave behind a legacy that reflects love, culture, and community.

Here’s to the memories, the growth, and the steps that carried us this far. 🩷 by @aries.kimi
