Windy and wild morning. Beautiful (read hard) boot camp with the Sergeant Major @sandistott3646 and @the_berlingo_babe then to the water to cool off. Fun frolicking in the waves turned in to slightly something else. We were facing the ocean and did not even realise the strong pull had dragged us further down for 30 meters in matter of minutes. I realised I had no control any longer where it was taking me, fast approaching the big metal pipeworks. I panicked tried to swim against it to get to safety. Not a hint of safety talk in my brain to say ‘float to safety’ tried to get closer to shore so I could put my feet in. I panicked for myself and for Sandi because I knew if I could save myself I could not save her. The sea was too powerful. Just a scary reminder how quickly things can change. How nature and the ocean is unpredictable. You think you are a seasoned swimmer but man for 30 seconds I thought this will not end well. We all made it back 💖, and get to have another Campari spritz one day. #respectthewater #poweroftheocean #wearealljustvisitors #gratitude by @arjanixon

This is my little ode to The Pantheon. This building made me feel something deep and profound over 27 years ago when I saw it for the first time. I still got that feeling when I went recently. I have been to many beautiful places and buildings in my life but nothing makes me feel like the Pantheon does.
