“They haven’t walked a mile in your boots.”
It is easy for people to judge your current chapter when they didn’t see the pages you had to write in blood, sweat, and tears to get here.
They don’t see the kid who grew from a baby into a toddler with nothing but big dreams. They don’t see the high school sweethearts holding their first baby, facing a mountain of doubts, and deciding right then and there to outwork the odds. They don’t see the decades of long shifts, sore shoulders, and relentless grind it took to provide for a family that has now grown to six beautiful kids. And they don’t see the battle-tested brothers in my life group who stand shoulder-to-shoulder with me to help keep my spirit anchored.
Every single sacrifice is ground into the leather of these boots.
Today, I’m throwing out these worn-out, crushed insoles and putting in a fresh layer of support. Not just for comfort—but because the mission isn’t finished. I still have a family to build, a faith to defend, and a legacy to secure.
No matter how heavy the load gets, you do not quit. You upgrade your foundation, you stand back up, and you keep moving forward.
Let them talk. Just keep walking. ⚡️🙏🏾

Aloha family and friends,
If you’re available and would like to come and help us send my boys off to the next chapter in life, they’ll be graduating tonight at the location and time mentioned above. Never believed the old saying, time flys when you have kids. Boy let me tell you, these passed 18 years was full of laughs, tears, fun, and learned lessons, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My son “Jahsiah” and my nephew “Taimane” will be off to chase dreams with one another playing college ball. The two basically lived and grew up together since birth and are nothing less than brothers. Mahalo to all who shared a part in their lives. We love you boys and you already know your Papa would be right there, first in line to see you folks walk. by @armstead.jr

Happy baptism day my kuz. I’ve had the privilege of knowing you since you were 4 or 5 and got to watch you mature into the beautiful soul you are today. Always excited to witness more brothers and sisters come to commit their life to Christ, and this one is special to me because it’s you, my wife’s baby cousin. Mahalo to the brothers that dedicated their time today, baptizing these beautiful people. And congratulations to all bapteez. Felling encouraged , feeling blessed. The plan was to target Akule a little farther out, but winds were up and I was on a solo mish. Definitely wanted to chance it but played it safe instead. Trust your gut and when in doubt stick to pluckin’ some reds. Blessings fresh from the sea #Menpachi #To’au #reds #kayakfishinghawaii by @armstead.jr

Aloha Family and friends,

We’re a little late to the senior shirt party, BUT… here it is. If you’d like to support Jahsiah (he’e), please see the above photo and get back to me asap via DM/call/text. Money should be sent to mom by November 11. Thank you for all the love and support you all have shown Jahsiah and our ohana throughout the years. It sure did come and go quickly. He and the Konawaena Wildcats have just (3) games left. This Saturday for the Divison 1 BIIF Championship. The last two games will be for the Division 1 Hawai’i State Championship. We love you all and can’t wait to see y’all rock his shirt with us. 🙏🏾🤙🏾 by @armstead.jr

You’re more than “Just A Mom”. You’re MY beautiful wife. Someone’s beautiful mom. Someone’s beautiful daughter. Someone’s beautiful sister. Someone’s beautiful aunty. You’re far more valuable than you know. And “WE” are blessed!!!

God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. (Ps. 46:5) taken in Kailua, Hawai'i by @armstead.jr
