Authentic Kanto-style udon has arrived in Mills 50, the heart of Orlando’s Asian business community. Named for the region of Japan that includes Tokyo, Kanto-style udon brings a new taste to the neighborhood.

Featured dishes:

• Country-Style Sukiyaki Beef Udon
• Beef Curry + Kakiage Udon
• Shrimp, Chicken + Vegetable Tempura
• Yakimeshi
• Tempura Corn

The intimate space offers 10 bar seats, with tempura flakes and shichimi togarashi at every seat so you can finish each bowl your way. Swipe through for the menu!

Part of Small Food Group, Udon Fifty opens to the public on October 22. No reservations—seating is first come, first served, with service continuing until sold out.

City board has approved parking garage on Woodward and Mills Ave pending new designs for the garage. Construction can start as early as 6-8 months pending city approval and permitting. Goodbye, Lake Eola Swans 😭💔🦢

Follow @brittanyblossoms for more things Orlando.

I’m seriously going to miss seeing these beautiful creatures around the lake… For over 100 years, these swans have called Lake Eola their home. But due to the recent Avian Flu outbreak that caused the death of over 30 swans, and with construction planned around the lake, the city has made the decision to pause the swan program indefinitely.

They’ve already begun this process, focused on the nesting mothers. They’ve not disclosed where they’ll be rehomed too as of yet, but they plan to remove them all by the fall. See them while you can. 😭

A sad moment for Orlando, but if it’s for the betterment of these animals, then there’s a silver lining.
