Women protecting women:

•I believe the biggest actionable change is raising the bar on who has access to us. If a person does not authentically protect women against violence, they gotta go.
•Circulate professional resources amongst women. Just as men do, let’s seek to promote, recommend and collaborate with each other first.

(New) Society protecting women:

•Financial knowledge. If you are a financial professional share your knowledge with women - money is a resource and a tool to better one’s life. Host a free workshop.

•Self-defence knowledge. If you are a professional self-defence coach host a free workshop for women.

•Educators, advocate for workshops that teach students moral obligations, self-respect and boundaries.

•Parents, I’m currently not a parent but I’d hope you already know what your role is here.

Men protecting women:

•Talk about this issue in your men’s circles. Learn who in your group genuinely cares about the safety of women. You might learn that you have to protect us against your own brothers.

•Lead the next generation of young men to do better through your own actions and vulnerable conversations.

•Seek professional therapy if your defences and masculinity are being triggered by these conversations.

I decided to keep this legs session in the squat rack the whole time. The goal this time was prioritising higher volume over heavy weight, which helps to lower body inflammation.

My exercises were (reps x sets):

• back squat 10x5
• paused squats 6x5
• front squats 6x3
• reverse lunges 8x3
• Romanian DL 8x5

->leggings @gymshark (surprisingly not see through)
-> sneakers @reebok (this classics style is great for compound lifts)

Comms for Community series: How do I prepare my business for press opportunities prior to an event?

1. Know your audience and find media where their audience aligns with yours.
2. Follow journalists, editors and media that you resonate with. Especially if they post stories that you’d like to secure for yourself.
3. Make contact and make it timely! Always be respectful and authentic in your approach.

This past week absolutely cooked my energy levels but my heart is in overflow. I couldn’t be more grateful to make it through the fire to these fulfilling waters that God has given me. I’ve never felt more myself and in love with the authenticity of my relationships.

Happiest of birthdays to my dad and big sister - I clearly had a blast celebrating you guys.

And so the journey continues… on to being weirder and sweatier than ever lmao.
