Celebrating 105 years of Gucci during Milan Design Week 2026, the “Gucci Memoria” exhibition at the Chiostri di San Simpliciano introduced visitors to an immersive journey through the House’s history and new creative direction under Demna Gvasalia and overall design of @sub.global

Our contribution, the design and production of the first touchpoint of the experience: 12 fully custom vending machines dispensing branded cans via QR code, conceived as a playful and digital entry ritual into the installation’s contemplative atmosphere. by @arsn___studio

VENICE PROTOCOL - our second and ambitious proposal for the 2025 @labiennale , the project explores the symbiotic intelligence of the lagoon ecosystem of Venice as a case study for understanding the future of Inhabiting: the city will serve as a living laboratory and dataset to develop a new methodology, applicable to all human settlements around the world.

The project was intended to be installed inside the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, in the entrance hall leading to the terrace. Shortly before the start of the implementation phase in January 2025, and completely unexpectedly—even for those working at the Fondaco—the DFS Group decided to close and decommission the mall by September 2025. The future of the building, redesigned by OMA in 2016, remains uncertain—much like Venice itself.

We represent Arsenalia’s effort to make AI tangible through two key elements: a physical showcase of the AI projects developed over the last 12 months, and a communal table that acts as a shared infrastructure for discussion, collaboration, and the exchange of new ideas and projects.

The entire installation has been designed with reuse in mind. The table structures will continue to serve a purpose within Arsenalia’s spaces, while the fabric sails will be repurposed into everyday objects after the event.

We also made a deliberate decision to avoid materials that are difficult to recycle, working directly with the existing venue flooring and minimizing the introduction of additional construction elements.

Design and production are more closely intertwined today than ever, driven by rapid prototyping tools that directly connect concept and fabrication.

Production Potential, presented at La Biennale di Venezia Architettura 2025 with @field.states , explored how vacant spaces can be reprogrammed as distributed hubs for advanced manufacturing, turning underused urban assets into active productive infrastructure.

One year later, the question remains open and increasingly urgent: how much latent productive capacity is already embedded in our existing cities, waiting to be unlocked? by @arsn___studio

Together with @sub.global, we contributed to the scenography design and production for the debut fashion show of Demna Gvasalia, creative director of a major luxury house, during Milan Fashion Week.

Hosted at Palazzo Mezzanotte, the installation reinterpreted classical decorative language through the lens of digital fabrication. The studio designed and realized three monumental chandeliers with a diameter of 3.5 meters, custom lighting fixtures, and two large bas-reliefs, merging precision, ornament, and light.

For production, we combined rapid prototyping and traditional craftsmanship, using 3D-printed molds and fiberglass structures to create ephemeral yet monumental forms suspended between stage, architecture, craft and innovation. by @arsn___studio

As part of Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, within “Production Potential: The Future of Vacant Buildings”, a Special Project curated by Carlo Ratti, we presented a production module that reimagines how cities could manufacture again.
The installation investigates the productive reuse of vacant and post-industrial spaces, turning them into distributed hubs for advanced, sustainable manufacturing.
Using footwear as a case study, we envisioned a near future where shoes are designed and produced locally, close to the people who will wear them.

By merging design, technology, material innovation, and micro-manufacturing, the project reflects on new forms of urban life emerging at the intersection of intelligence, industry, and community. taken in La Biennale di Venezia by @arsn___studio

For @aiweekitalia, Europe’s largest event on Artificial Intelligence, we designed an immersive installation that invites visitors to navigate the inner layers of an AI model.

Screens – ranging from small text interfaces to large-scale, real-time visualizations – unfold stories that expose the model’s logic, biases, and unexpected interpretations. A deeper, interactive layer reveals the operational reality of AI, bridging abstract computation and everyday use.

☕️ Each year, more than 500,000 tones of green coffee are imported into Italy for roasting.
The process leaves behind over 7,500 tones of coffee silverskin (CSS) – a thin, papery layer usually treated as waste.

Composed primarily of lignocellulose, this overlooked byproduct holds the potential to replace conventional raw materials. Our ongoing research investigates silverskin as a resource – exploring its transformation into surfaces, structures, and large-format printed matter.

The project examines how design can intercept industrial flows, reframe waste as material culture, and redefine the aesthetics of circular production. by @arsn___studio

At Alcova, we presented “Sub-strate”, an exploration of the generative future of the supply chain, where historical craftsmanship meets AI.

The installation featured sand dunes with 3D prototypes and interactive devices, inviting visitors to engage with the ongoing transformation of production and material systems.

The collaboration with Hilos Studio allowed us to merge expertise and visions, amplifying both innovation and sustainability in design practice. Through experience as storytelling, Sub-strate reflects on how design can make complex processes tangible, immersive, and culturally resonant. by @arsn___studio
