B&W Editor’s Cut from a VALR Energy production by @matterbrnd 🎬

I spoke with the team at Matterbrnd recently about revisiting footage from a VALR Energy production. We felt like a lot was left on the table, and that we could produce some killer new cuts. This was the first product of that conversation.

From identity to interface. Every pixel is purpose driven.

A look back at the last 24 months at @matterbrnd. We’ve been slowly developing our skills in Branding and Web Design, and perfecting our process to better serve our current and future clients.

There’s something about chasing first light that never gets old. The stillness, the sound of the ocean, the hum of the bike cutting through the air. One of those mornings where everything just clicked and nothing else mattered.

Our team captured these frames on sunrise shoot in Palm Beach for @valrenergydrink.

90% of entrepreneurs quit before they get their win. Make sure you’re part of the 10% who don’t.

You’re one win away from everyone acting like they believed in you from the start.

Just keep pushing forward. Zero distractions. by @art.herrero

In the pursuit of doing more of what I love I’ve decided to step into my passion as a Director & DP to shoot a short documentary this year.

Over the last few weeks and for the next 3 months I will be training along side a handful of hybrid and endurance athletes to document their journey as they prep to compete in the Miami HYROX on April 19th.

I’ll be sharing a few short teasers and highlight moments along the way. For now enjoy these frames from the last few sessions.

Good coffee, better people and conversations about cars? Count me in.

Some BTS moments and frames from a recent podcast recording we did at @sundaymotorco. Excited to help Matt Christ of @carsofpalmbeachfl produce his podcast, bringing together great minds to shine a light on Palm Beach automotive culture. by @art.herrero

The vibe was immaculate at @sundaymotorco's Sunday Service! They're definitely bringing back automotive culture in West Palm when it’s needed most. Looking forward to the next one! by @art.herrero

The barrier to creating campaign-level assets has dropped with the rise of generative AI, but the need for strong art direction has never been higher. Anyone can generate content, but few can communicate vision, style, and taste.

I’ve been experimenting with AI to push creative boundaries, build repeatable systems, and refine outputs that match the ideas in my head. This has also expanded our ability to serve smaller clients by exploring more concepts, iterating faster, and achieving greater precision.

Here are a few running inspired images I created using different AI tools. If you’re curious about how to produce visuals like these or integrate AI into your creative process, let’s chat. by @art.herrero

Looking back on moments like this is when you realize it’s all real. It’s all happening, the thing you set out to do is unfolding before you.

I find myself thinking back on the goals I set out to achieve this year, feeling this surreal sense of gratefulness.

Not everything may have gone how I would have expected, not every goal may have been achieved in its entirety. But dang, in January MatterBrnd got its official start, Art and I joined forces increasing our capabilities, capacity and growth potential, we partnered with incredible businesses who believed in our small but mighty team and we‘ve had plenty of growing pains.

Through the pain we’ve also learned a lot, and our trajectory is clearer now more than ever. I’m blown away by how God is blessing this business and can’t wait for what’s next.

Grateful for this gift of a company, the incredible people who have trusted us with theirs and the talented creatives who support us in our mission to produce purpose driven visuals.
