Pinch me! After 3 1/2 years, my application for studio space in this gorgeous historic Mill has been accepted. I count myself lucky to be in the company of some very recognized artists, past and present.
If you’re local, you can find me at 515 Main St, Glen Williams. I would love to meet you!

🎨✨ One historic mill. Four local artists. Our #hhCultureDays fall road trip is heading to Glen Williams!

Make Williams Mill Creative Arts Studios a stop on your Open Studios day trip and step inside the working spaces of four local artists:

🎨 Lisa Knie creates colourful abstract works in acrylic and mixed media, painting intuitively through expression, feeling and experimentation.

🖌️ Step inside Pauline Gladstone’s The Spark Studio, a spectacular light-filled space with thick stone walls, eight-foot windows, high ceilings and giant beams. Pauline explores still life, nature, landscapes, abstraction and portraiture, with realism forming the foundation of her painted stories.

🖼️ Anita Van Zeumeren, a graduate of the Academy of Realist Art, creates detailed oil paintings on traditional surfaces and unexpected materials including silver leaf and slate. Her practice also includes mosaics and resin work.

✨ Mary Ellen Farrow has been sculpting in stone for more than 35 years, working in limestone, marble, alabaster and soapstone at scales ranging from miniature to monumental. Her flowing, tactile sculptures explore movement and emotion, sometimes with a touch of humour! Her commissioned public works can be found across Ontario, including in the Haliburton Sculpture Forest.

📍 Williams Mill Creative Arts Studios
515 Main St., Glen Williams

Explore the studios, meet the artists and discover some of the incredible work being created right here in Halton Hills.

🗺️ Plan your Open Studios day trip: map link in bio.

More stops are coming throughout the morning!

I don’t think I ever posted this painting. It sold from @dragonfly_arts189 ‘s window last week. Thanks again for the opportunity to show my work!

Theodora adored her dress, but thought her up-do was a tad…flamboyant. 🔴 Sold.

Love how my window display came together! Many thanks to Joan Hope, owner of @dragonfly_arts189 for the invitation, support and friendship. Turns out I taught her child 40 years ago!

Art day with my favourite collaborator. Baby’s asleep and it’s not raining - perfect day to be outdoors.
Painting is not finished, but it’s a great beginning! @katerogerscreations
