Maybe I’m crazy starting another channel, but I feel my fascination with ski jumping needs a home. On this page I’ll be sharing paintings, sculptures, sketches, photography, video and maybe even sound. All inspired by these crazy individuals who throw themselves off mountains.

This is my first completed painting, made at life-size scale. It features retired Norwegian jumper Bjørn Einar @romoeren , based on an original photograph by @juremakovec

Title : Jumper 5.
Medium : Acrylic on cardboard
Dimensions : 280 x 120cm

Interesting book just arrived, includes a long and detailed history of ski jumping, plus technical info on how they build hills. I particularly like the section on the crazy temporary jump they built in Manchester, UK! (slide 2).
