though the reunion weekend has concluded, i wanted to highlight and display some of the dope things i got the opportunity to create while planing everything! a lot of people don’t know (nor care 😂) about the depth/range of my creativity and overall artistic perspective. like this sh*t is in my blood and runs DEEP! i always put so much effort into my craft no matter what, so this project was very personal and a full circle moment i’m thankful for 😇 i spent this entire year through all the crazy sh*t going on, planning, creating, and designing everything for this reunion. though it’s been a LONG ass year doing this all alone, i personally have enjoyed not only working on a project like this, but actually having full creative control and direction. respectfully, it felt great to creatively execute all the ideas i envisioned for this event perfectly. from the logo designs, the content, the merch, the venues/spaces, hell even the damn treat bags 😂 nobody understands how much i truly enjoy being alone in my element, while working on something personal and dear to my heart. very thankful that my “crazy” ideas were accomplished as envisioned. the responses and overall love i received really did something for my mental that only a few will understand 🥺 baby, anxiety been whooping my ass all year stressing over trying to perfect everything for everyone in my class 😭 i’ve always been super nostalgic and really wanted to put together something dope for everyone to enjoy! i was so nervous everyone would genuinely hate everything or not even acknowledge the genuine effort i put into anything. i went in with low expectations to avoid disappointment, but i got the opposite! i just wanna personally say thank you to everyone who showed some love, gave kind words, and any genuine appreciation given to me. what that did for me mentally i’ll respect and cherish forever 🥹 this past weekend was really one for the books! i got to see so many people i haven’t seen in years! the genuine love that was displayed & received was INSANE 🙂‍↕️ like these people aren’t just my classmates, they’re family 🫶🏾 taken in Roger Bacon High School by @artbyjoshc

halloween may be over, but i always enjoy the insane and fun mental process of choosing a costume every year. i always want my costume choice to pay homage to someone specific, and for there to be a personal meaning behind my choice. since i was kid, blade was always a huge badass hero i’ve adored. wesley snipe’s portrayal and overall aesthetic set the tone for a portion of my obsession with gothic themes in the early 2000’s to now! representation really does matter, and to see someone that looked just like me visually reiterate things my young mind could only imagine! i really wanted to perfect the costume from the shoot concept, the outfit, the theme, and the simplicity of using black and red (two of my favorite colors) to really help me visually bring my portrayal of blade to life! sorry for the rant, y’all know i love the creative process behind everything 😂 anyways, here’s to another successful spooky szn, and more dope things to soon come 😇🫶🏾 taken in New York City by @artbyjoshc

“oh well, i’ll heal in hell” playlist & project arranged, curated, and designed by yours truly :) playlist available for listen, via my apple music page linked on my @afamouslame profile! take a listen and share your feedback with me ☺️ random project from last year that was collecting dust in the archives. one day, i was randomly playing with the idea of story i wanted to tell through a playlist. i always make chill r&b playlists and wanted to switch it up this round and be a little toxic 🤭 after i finished shooting for my halloween costume last year, i had so many concepts and material left unused. easily came up with the idea of combining two different but parallel concepts and now here we are! amidst that process, i had taken an excerpt of some old thoughts that synonymously reiterated the theme of project! just something fun to share, more random lil projects soon to come 🤭🫶🏾 tags 📮 #afamouslame #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #coverart #graphicartist #adobephotoshop #artdirection #musicartwork #graphics #digitalgraphics #coverdesign #coverdesign #albumartwork #explore #conceptart #playlist #applemusic #blackartist #foryou by @artbyjoshc

i always genuinely appreciate when my loved ones ask for my creative assistance 🥰 my bestfriend @janae_daprettyone decided the theme for her birthday this year would be centered around the luxury brands she loves! she wanted invites, decorations, gift bags and etc that were all centered around this specific theme. i started playing around with the idea of recreating different brand logos with her name/initials. ultimately, i decided to choose louis vuitton and from there figured out how to incorporate her name with their logo, which was pretty easy! next i started designing layouts with different color schemes that i knew she would love and ended up with some really cool ideas! brittany loved the designs and decided to use them for her birthday! i love the creative process that is starting from rough sketches/ideas then developing those concepts into something major! thanks again brittany for trusting me to bring your vision to life, i really do appreciate it 🥹💕 taken in Louis Vitton by @artbyjoshc

another concept i was originally considering for how i wanted to display my thoughts. was gonna shelve these in the archives but i loved how everything was done and arranged! when i originally was writing this, i had a few visual concepts in mind for how i wanted to visually display everything. so many different ideas all with one common theme centered around numerous negative emotions. i genuinely do love the chaotic and creative process that is figuring out how to bring ideas to life visually. it’s stressful but so fulfilling 😂 by @artbyjoshc

kill bill (freestyle)🩸- written, edited, & visually arranged by yours truly :) i was so obsessed with kill bill when i first heard it and still am till this day 😭 everyone that knows me knows how much this song resonated with me 😂 (my most played song on apple music last year & probably going to still be in my top 10 this year 🥴) sza’s writing always has inspired me, but i was so intrigued by the specific perspective she wrote this song from. i was listening to the instrumental and started freestyling some of my thoughts but from my own perspective while also channeling sza’s perspective/theme of the song. wrote this last year and of course me being the extra person i am needed to visually display my thoughts 😂 s/o to sza and her FLAWLESS pen for inspiring me to write this. may not seem like much to anybody else, but little things like this genuinely make me happy :) #afamouslame #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #coverart #graphicartist #artdirection #graphics #digitalgraphics #coverdesign #type #typography #visualgraphic #artwork #poster #artwork #writer #writing #freestyle #poetry #sza #killbill by @artbyjoshc
