October rewards are coming!

This month I decided to draw a Band-Tailed Pigeon, these guys are pretty big compared to our normy city pigeons. They are super cute. The first time I saw one I thought it was a hawk because its feet looked like talons. Anyways pigeons are cool and now the giants are just living in the forest for me to find.

This month I wanted to gift anyone who joins the October mail club a little sticker to accompany the art print.

I’ve been creating these printable freebies for almost 2 years and still just hoping it brings someone joy. It's all about taking some time away from your screens to relax and enjoy a little bit of coloring, a word search or receive a monthly mobile wallpapers.

If you'd like this cutie to land in your inbox sign up for 💌newsletter before Monday or join my 💌mail club anytime in September for all digital rewards + physical rewards, up to you! #LinkInBio

14. Sugar Skull Cat #Catober26art14

I didn't have much time with this, I've been super busy at work. I think I still really like it but I would have loved to make more tile designs. I am a big fan of the colors too 🫶

13. In Ugly Sweater #Catober26art13

Any excuse to make a kitty chunky! Then any excuse to dress them up haha. This guy was fun to draw, if I had more time I'd probably do a little animation of the sweater unraveling or something and then the kitty being really skinny haha.

12. Zombie Cat #Catober26art12

I was excited for this prompt and then realized it's a bit more challenging then I thought. This was based off of my sketch and I almost changed it entirely because it felt like it was missing something. Then I added the background and thats it, I really liked it. I always have trouble with the backgrounds, but this was a fun way to add dimension without using the whole space. I wonder if it's better to start with a background then draw on top?

11. Jumping cat #Catober26art11

I really like working on this one but it's sooooo different from what i've been doing for all the other catober illustrations. Should I make more like this or stick to my norm? It's more of a gouache painterly digital drawing.

Digital illustration drawn on paper first then transferred into procreate.

09. Riding a bull #Catober26art09

Simple but fun! I really had fun drawing this, I wanted to make the bull super whimsical and super bendy. I have a bunch of sketches trying to get the bendiness correct haha. If I had more time I would also do some more with the background. I really like these color combos, I tried a bit more vibrant colors.

Digital illustration drawn by a human, I really like sketching traditionally first.

Heres my little cat in a pickle jar illustration. I had a lot fun with this. I'm already enjoying so many amazing cats in pickle jars haha 😍

I made a little progress video I'll be posting a bit later!

Digital illustration human drawn in procreate, sketched in pen first then redrawn in procreate.

07. Space Cat #Catober26art07

Heres my little astronaut kitty cat illustration. I wasn't super excited about this one I feel like I make everything so small and I need to work on my backgrounds. I need to work on my backgrounds, putting characters into a background. Anyways I am excited to see all the cute and fun illustrations.

Digital illustration human drawn in procreate, I sketched this in 7x7 sketchbook with a pen and then took an image with my ipad and redrew it digitally. My sketches are rough and sometimes needs to be redrawn for composition and all the details are added in the digital stages.

06. In Flower Field #Catober26art06

I really loved this one so much, the simple colors choice to the kitty illustration. As I was sketching I addedd a new layer that I made with purple liner to fix something and fell in love with the purple linework so thats how I choose my colors. It had to work with my purple lines haha.
