My plexi etching process video on the bunny print. In art it is important to create a process that works for you, and if you want a clean over-wiped plate sometimes like me, then go for it. And a Happy Easter to those who celebrate! #etching #prairie #intaglio #artprocess #breakthoserules #printrun #fineart #illustration #cottagecore #farmland #watershipdown #rabbits #prairieart #dupageartleague by @artbytinadh

Am I Wyeth? Not yet. Imma keep working at it though. This lil engine doesn't give up.

Went to search for orbs after and no luck yet, but it was a gorgeous day. taken in Fine Line Creative Arts Center by @artbytinadh

Art process is not fast. I see my students rushing sometimes and not being present in their work. Because of the birth of A.I., the importance of craft is even more valuable. This is your time, this is your craft, this is your art. Be present in the process. #artprocess #intaglio #slowart #craft #printmaking by @artbytinadh

I’ll be there with all my cat prints and more. Booth 153 at the south end near the fabulous @barrelandrye I’m running out of the Librarian print so get it while it’s available. Soon what’s left of the series will only be sold framed with watercolor added. Hoping for clear weather! #artfair #printmaker #fineart #cats by @artbytinadh

Finished this series last night. I have finally decided it’s time to indulge in my love of cats. Cats and books, cats and knitting, cats and ink. What other things do cats involve themselves in? The model for this series was my love, Griffin Fluffer-Nutters-Butters the finest friend a girl could have. #cats #printmaking #intaglio #ink #artprocess by @artbytinadh

Take the stress out of Plein Air, by preparing your framing skills in advance! 🖼

This month’s guest coffee talk speaker, Tina Druce-Hoffman, is a professional illustrator, graphic designer and instructor. She is also an enthusiastic En Plein Air Artist who believes that drawing from life outside of the studio sharpens artist’s skills. ✨️

During this month’s coffee talk, Tina will guide you through her tips and tricks to making sure your framing experience is quick and painless.

With our third annual St. Charles Plein Air event on the horizon, this coffee talk could not be better timed!

We look forward to seeing Tina's thoughtful demonstration next week!

6 hours later, a print run is finished. He doesn’t look exactly like my Griffin who’s picture I took for this reference but that’s ok. If I look at it too long I see issues here and there. I’m over thinking and on the edge of trashing the series and going back to the drawing board to fix one problem that only just hit me. Im sure it’s just me…right? #printmaking #intaglio #drypoint #artprocess #cat by @artbytinadh

Your sketchbook is for brain barf. I like to do multiple iterations on a subject. Typically, I go forward with the best one, sometimes I go back and revamp something discarded. I like flipping through my lost ideas and recycling them now that I am older artist. I feel like I’ve gotten somewhere with time and experience I didn’t have 10 or 20 years ago so I can finish old thoughts and heal wounds in my art making that frustrated me. #artprogress #drawing #artskills #levelingup by @artbytinadh
