A couple of hand pulled prints from a quick #drypointetching I did in my last #printmaking class with @artbytinadh who is an amazing printmaker! I’m in love with the whole process and excited to be learning something so hands on.

Today I colored one with sparkly ink washes. Debating on if I should color them all since there are only 9 copies. My plate got scratched so I had to stop at 9. 😭Or should I leave some as just the original pull?

What do we think? 🤔

Thank you so much to Tina Druce-Hoffman for Tuesday's informative Coffee Talk! 🖼☕️

Tina went above and beyond in demonstrating the the various ways to frame your artwork for Plein Air.

We appreciated her hands on demonstration, step-by-step guidance, as well as personal recommendations.

Take the stress out of Plein Air, by preparing your framing skills in advance! 🖼

This month’s guest coffee talk speaker, Tina Druce-Hoffman, is a professional illustrator, graphic designer and instructor. She is also an enthusiastic En Plein Air Artist who believes that drawing from life outside of the studio sharpens artist’s skills. ✨️

During this month’s coffee talk, Tina will guide you through her tips and tricks to making sure your framing experience is quick and painless.

With our third annual St. Charles Plein Air event on the horizon, this coffee talk could not be better timed!

We look forward to seeing Tina's thoughtful demonstration next week!

Wow! What a rapturous response to yesterday's Artist Coffee Talk. 👏

Thank you to Caitlin Palagi @fullcirclecreative_ for coming out to speak to everyone about the anxiety behind the creative process and the journey to letting go.

It was clear that this was a topic that resonated with many artists, no matter their style or discipline. We enjoyed the enthusiastic and engaged discussion from everyone that attended. This is what coffee talks are all about!☕️

Our coffee talks are offered monthly on the third Tuesday of every month at 10a.m. Our next speaker will be Tina Druce-Hoffman @artbytinadh So, mark your calendars now! 🗓️
