This little girl started her PhD program at Auburn today (online) and this little guy starts grad school at Belmont Wednesday! So proud of them both💕 After they both swore they would never stay home and go to Auburn, I finally have a Tiger!! Go Bruins and War Eagle! by @artctrish

AAEA Summer Board retreat in the books! Enjoyed driving a whole 5 minutes to the ArtHaus for our 3-day retreat and also enjoyed hosting the board for barbecue dinner despite the rain!🌧️ Also made art and AAEA wear! Always a good time with these people! by @artctrish

Trip to Perdido Key and deep sea fishing trip ✅ I actually read 1 whole book (One Golden Summer) and started Theo of Golden. Lots of seaweed. Caught lots of fish. Ate yummy seafood! by @artctrish

I can’t even begin to explain the joy of this weekend! He did it! 🎓

Four years at Belmont as a Music Composition major, working at the Belmont Mansion, serving as an RA for two years, and performing in so many ensembles from Jazz to Percussion. On top of that, he had multiple original compositions performed by JB1 and the orchestra—and graduating Magna Cum Laude. He will be staying in Nashville for Grad School.

He’s built incredible friendships and lasting relationships with his professors, and I couldn’t be prouder to be his mom. ❤️

I felt it only fitting to choose Beethoven’s Ode to Joy for this post because:

1)We all survived!

2)We’re distantly related to the man himself (even if it’s just one strand of DNA🧬)

The perfect weekend. My nephew, Trent, married truly the love of his life, Haley, and it was the most beautiful and perfect wedding 💗 Loved spending time with family, especially Ash and Jacob. (We missed Matt as he is knee-deep in finals! ) So proud of the young men my nephews have grown up to be. (Good job @suz_runs2 )❤️ I also my have changed into may Birks at the reception because you know- comfy AND Pink😅 @trentweekday @haleyashfield by @artctrish
