Following the launch of our first naturally dyed Chamomile colour, we’re excited to introduce the next chapter in the Roya Naturally Dyed Collection.

Meet Japanese Yamato Indigo.

Hand-dyed in our Dubai studio using traditional Yamato Indigo, this limited edition Roya Merino DK showcases one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated natural dyes.

Crafted from 100% superwash merino wool, this yarn combines the exceptional softness and performance of merino with the beauty of traditional Japanese indigo dyeing.

Every batch is dyed in small quantities, making each skein unique.

The yarn also carries the gentle, earthy aroma of natural indigo - a reminder of the traditional dyeing process.

This scent will gradually soften over time and with washing, while the beautiful naturally derived colour remains.

This is a limited drop. Once this batch is gone, the next batch will develop its own unique character, just as nature intended.

A new chapter for Roya begins.

After years of perfecting our tonal hand-dyed yarns, we’re proud to introduce our very first Naturally Dyed Roya Merino DK.

And it begins with Chamomile 🌼.

Hand dyed in our Dubai studio using locally sourced whole chamomile flowers, each skein develops a soft, warm golden yellow that only nature can create.

Crafted from 100% superwash merino wool, every skein is dyed in small batches, making each one beautifully unique.

It even carries the gentle, natural aroma of chamomile - a reminder of the flowers used during the dyeing process.

This is a limited drop. Once this batch is gone, it won’t be reproduced in exactly the same way.

But this is only the beginning.

Chamomile is the first release in our Naturally Dyed Roya collection.

Over the coming months, we’ll continue exploring plants, flowers, herbs and natural materials from our region and around the world, transforming them into limited-edition yarns inspired by nature.

The next natural colour is already on its way.

بعد سنوات من تطوير وإتقان خيوطنا المصبوغة يدويًا بتدرجات لونية، يسعدنا نقدم لكم أول إصدار من رويا ميرينو دي كيه المصبوغ بالألوان الطبيعية.

والبداية مع البابونج 🌼.

انصبغت كل شِلّة يدويًا في مشغلنا بدبي باستخدام زهور البابونج الكاملة من مصادر محلية، لتعطي لونًا أصفر ذهبيًا دافئًا وهادئًا ما تقدر تصنعه إلا الطبيعة.

مصنوعة من 100% صوف ميرينو سوبر ووش، وكل شِلّة تنصبغ بكميات صغيرة، لذلك كل واحدة لها طابعها وجمالها الخاص.

وحتى ريحتها تحمل عبير البابونج الطبيعي، كتذكار للزهور اللي استخدمناها خلال عملية الصباغة.

هذا إصدار محدود. وإذا خلصت هذي الدفعة، ما راح نعيد إنتاجها بنفس الطريقة مرة ثانية.

لكن هذي مجرد البداية.

البابونج هو أول إصدار ضمن مجموعة رويا المصبوغة بالألوان الطبيعية.

وخلال الأشهر القادمة، بنواصل استكشاف النباتات، والزهور، والأعشاب، والمواد الطبيعية من منطقتنا ومن مختلف أنحاء العالم، ونحوّلها إلى خيوط بإصدارات محدودة مستوحاة من الطبيعة.

This art wall was created using hand-dyed yarns made of 100% merino wool. It was a special experience to showcase this unique, colorful piece at World Art Dubai.
