Premiere destination for the future of human-machine collaboration ✦ Summits in NY & LA
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Unveiling ✧ After Hours

Yesterday’s Summit made clear how far the AI and Creativity conversation has moved beyond tools.

AI is leaving the screen and entering the studio, set, scent lab, sound booth, writer’s room, archive, brand system, legal department, and human imagination.

That is why we’re unveiling After Hours, a new virtual AI & Creativity series for the conversations, workshops, and sessions that deserve more time than a single day together can hold.

Main Stage Moments // LA Summit Highlights

The Main Stage at our AI & Creativity LA Summit was packed with industry-defining conversations, bold ideas, and creative breakthroughs. Here are some moments we can’t stop thinking about:

Grimes: Inside the Machine
Grimes and Matt Zien sat down with Ben Relles for a raw, unfiltered look at their AI-fueled creative process from the making of Artificial Angels to the philosophical debates shaping their work. Human imagination meets machine intelligence, live on stage.

Redefining Artistry in the Age of AI
Hannah C. Elsakr unpacked how creative leaders preserve a strong artistic point of view while embracing AI tools that unlock personalization at scale, deepen world-building, and reshape what authorship means in human–machine collaboration.

Beyond Imagination: Lovable x Artist and the Machine
Shantell Martin and Moral Turgeman showed what happens when artists who’ve mastered traditional craft ask AI to take them somewhere they couldn’t go alone. Vibecoding in action.

Everyone Hates AI!
Benjamin Benichou pulled back the curtain on the Hot Topic x Baby Three campaign—from hundreds of “anti-AI” comments to selling out 10x faster than expected. Creative risk, smart storytelling, and AI collaboration turned backlash into results.

Vision to Venue: The AI Experience Pipeline
Devin Poolman, Matthew Celia, Katya Alexander, and Christopher Sinnott explored how AI compresses production timelines and scales creative ideas to venues holding thousands. Immersive entertainment is being rebuilt from the ground up.

Innovating Inside the Machine
Carrie Buse, Karishma Donde, and Jasmine Enberg shared how legacy brands and institutions are using AI not just for efficiency, but for cultural relevance, storytelling, and human-centric design at scale.

Thinking Slow in the Age of Fast Machines
Dominik Heinrich and Angella Tapé challenged us to re-learn how we learn as AI amplifies cognitive overload. The meta-learning method used by LEGO, Coca-Cola, and ON Running, live in LA.

More highlights incoming. Stay tuned. taken in Los Angeles, California by @artistandthemachine

“The machines need artists, artists need machines. And at this intersection, there’s a lot of beauty to be found.”

On this week’s After Hours, @dave.krugman joined us for an inspiring look behind the curtain of true artist-machine collaboration to deepen his relationship with his craft, is able to build unique and novel experiences for his collectors and communities, and bring entirely new bodies of interactive work to life.

“Every time there is cynicism around a new technology, artists do what artists do best. They take that new tool and they build beautiful worlds with it and around it.”

He got the whole world outside chasing Pokémon. Now he’s teaching AI how to model the real world.

John Hanke is Founder and Executive Chair of @nianticspatial a geospatial AI company building a foundation model for physical AI. Previously, John was the founder and CEO of Niantic, Inc., the creator of Pokémon GO, a worldwide phenomenon that achieved lifetime revenues of more than $8B. Niantic’s games business was sold to Scopely/Savvy for $3.8B in 2025 and Niantic Spatial was spun out as an independent company.

“AI truly has great potential. But it will be up to all of us to make sure we channel this massive investment into tech that will not merely entertain and distract us but truly help create a better reality”

This December in LA, John Hanke joins the Artist and the Machine Summit onstage.

LTX returns as a partner for our Summit in Los Angeles this December.

Its latest LTX-2.5 model is open-weight and can run locally, putting more of the underlying technology in the hands of the people actually using it to create.

As AI moves deeper into filmmaking, access and creative control are becoming increasingly interesting questions. More on this with LTX in LA. by @artistandthemachine

@amazon Design joins Artist and the Machine as a partner for our Los Angeles Summit this December.

With more than 5,000 designers, researchers, and creatives around the world, their team works on a question that only carries more gravity in the age of AI – how do you build technology for millions of people and still make it feel considered, intuitive, and human?

We’ll be digging into that question together in LA.

A generative model can create a video in seconds but still struggles to license a song.

That’s the gap @epidemicsound fills. They own every track in their catalogue - 55,000 of them, plus 250,000 sound effects, all made by human artists.

Because they own it outright, one license covers every market and every channel, and their AI can reshape a real song rather than fabricate a substitute, with the artist paid at every step.

The latest addition: API integrations and an MCP connector, so you can find, reshape and license music inside the tools you already use.

Epidemic Sound returns as a partner for our LA Summit this December.

The brief used to be "make us a campaign." Now it's "rebuild the system."

On the first episode of After Hours with @dani_vans, we discuss what the biggest consumer brands are actually asking for: not a talented creative who can build a cool campaign with their brand DNA, but a creative technologist who can take the source DNA, improve it, systematize it, and roll it out across the whole company.
