Today we have crushed some coal up and mixed it in with texture paste not sure how this is going to look but jack and I can’t wait to see what @durhamspraypaints thinks of this crazy new idea. Jack’s uncle told us to take a hammer to the coal we love the effect it’s made, even grandma was helping. by @artjackberry

Jack would like to thank the Newcastle United Captain @bigdanburn for his lovely message we do apologize that we are late in thanking you but last weekend Jack was in hospital due to his epilepsy, it has taken him a couple of days to recover from this so he’s been very sleepy today. We hope you are well and are enjoying the England matches. by @artjackberry

I feel like I could sleep for a week. Every noise heard. Drunks have been removed from the ward area. Not sure what is worse listening to bodily functions or the sound of machinery going off all of the time. Please pray we get home today. by @artjackberry

Just a bit of artwork going on. Two @granitxhaka paintings and one Sunderland Badge. Sometimes celebrating what we have achieved means more than what the press are running around saying. #GX34 #safc #spraypainting #artists taken in City of Sunderland by @artjackberry

The work I have put in with jack in recent weeks is definitely worth it. He has learnt so much from Lewis not just has an artist but has a person who likes art. @dgballard jack has worked so hard to get your face right and your goal pose. He thinks you’re like the hulk, we are so proud of him for not giving up and for being able to keep up with his artistic talent. #safc #danballard #autismandarts #epilespywarrior taken in City of Sunderland by @artjackberry

Today I wanted to paint The Incredible Hulk @dgballard so many footballers mean so much to our community. The best thing about doing my paintings is meeting the fans. I like a good fist pump, a high five and just feeling like I am part of the team. Thank you to everyone who is coming to visit me I hope you all are happy with my artwork #safc #danballard #autism by @artjackberry

Mum I’m just leaving you this here so you and Lewis know that this painting needs to have Spider-Man going to Europe. I’m the artist you and Lewis need to follow my lead. #safc @purplebraincreations @durhamspraypaints taken in City of Sunderland by @artjackberry
