Wow! What an incredible inaugural @artonocean β€” Palisades Park Arts Festival in @cityofsantamonica! @venicepaparazzi and @westsidephotoclub was on the scene documenting all the art, music, food and community fun. On Saturday, August 8, Ocean Avenue alongside Palisades Park was transformed into a vibrant, walkable outdoor arts destination overlooking the Pacific Ocean. More than 100 California artists showcased paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, mixed-media and handcrafted creations. The festival also featured live music by Nick Kennerly, Mudslide Mojo, La Compania and @countryhousepartymusic, plus DJs, a Wine Garden, Paint & Sip, local food and drinks, and free creative activities for kids and families. Kudos to the event organizers @jenmsm and Danny Rice, volunteers, participating artists and everyone who helped bring this incredible first-year festival to life! What a beautiful celebration of art, creativity and community in Santa Monica. Nothing beats spending a sunny afternoon exploring art while strolling through Palisades Park in Santa Monica.β˜€οΈ K & C | We love it when ocean views, local art, and wine garden vibes all come together. In fact, we regularly seek out all of these things, which is why we were all in when we heard about the Art on Ocean Palisades Park Art Festival taking place in Santa Monica this past Saturday. There was so much talent on display, from paintings, prints, photographs, and ceramics to handcrafted jewelry, clothing, and sculptures. But our favorite part was spotting pieces that captured Santa Monica landmarks β€” there’s something special about seeing iconic spots like the Pier and The Aero Theatre brought to life through an artist’s eyes. Once we’d taken in all the creative offerings, we headed over to the wine garden for a glass of rosé served by Divine Vintage, one of our absolute favorite Santa Monica spots. Soaking up the afternoon sun with that endless Pacific horizon in front of us was the perfect way to end the day. πŸ—“οΈ August 2026 #thematrilineal #motherdaughterday #palisadespark #santamonicaart #artinla taken in Santa Monica, California by @artonocean
