Pick one painting to live inside forever… 👀

This week, Mala @ma1a_m00n joins our host Yvonne to share her pick: Gerdine Duijsens’ Romantic Dinner. ♥️ Because when you’re in love, sometimes it really does feel like it’s just you and your person in the whole world.

Honestly, we get it. Some moments you just never want to leave.

What painting would you choose to live inside forever?

Jesse Black stopped by for his artist interview and put the finishing touches on his artwork, "Ramble On."

We love seeing artists get in their zone and create!

Watch until the end for the final reveal, and stay tuned for his upcoming interview :)

Color turned all the way up ⬆️

Outside The Gamut brings together Amber Goldhammer, Cynthia Coulombe-Bégin, Naguy Claude, Danny Brown, and Gary John, five artists whose work draws from street art, pop culture, abstraction, text, and familiar symbols.

Across the exhibition, bold palettes and recognizable imagery take on very different personalities, from playful and irreverent to layered, expressive, and graphic.

Outside The Gamut is now on view at Artspace Warehouse through October 23.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Scott Froschauer, a valued artist in our Artspace Warehouse community.

Scott brought messages of hope, acceptance, and humor to public spaces throughout Southern California. From his 20 sign artworks in Glendale’s parks and libraries to West Hollywood’s RELAX UR OK and ONE LOVE neon sculptures, his work offered everyday moments of encouragement and connection.

His collaborative spirit and inspiring energy shaped his work with neighborhood councils, public arts organizations, and Streets Are For Everyone’s Yellow Bike Project. Scott’s dedication to his community leaves a lasting legacy in our shared public spaces.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and everyone touched by his life and work. by @artspaceware

Leah picked a few of her favorite new artworks from the past month — and here’s what she had to say about each one:

⭕ “Concentric Circles II” by Jamie Burmeister
“The colorful circles pull your eye to the tiny metal figure in the center, almost like the bullseye backdrop in an old cartoon. He’s clearly the star of the show, getting a well-deserved moment of recognition for his excellent work ethic.”

🌊 “Morning Mist and the Red Flower Reef” by Kai Liu
“A magnificent landscape! The way he employs color and form takes my breath away.”

🧍 “Mini Face” Series by Valerie Etitinwo
“Who doesn’t love a little guy? I love all of Valerie’s artworks, but these tiny expressions feel extra precious.”

🍣 “Sushi, Me” by Kellie Newsome
“Kellie’s food paintings always look so tasty; her choice of textures and colors gives her still lifes such wonderful character.”

✨ “Gold Moss” by Clara Berta
“The gold in this composition sparkles subtly as you move your eyes across the canvas. The painting is very calming to look at, and it catches my attention every time I pass it by.”

A few new favorites, straight from Leah. Which one would you pick?

Consider this your sign to stop saving that blank wall for later 👀

Art changes a room, but it also changes the way you experience it. A little color, an unexpected texture, something quiet, something bold. Whatever speaks to you.

Let your walls join the conversation or spark a thought. Come by to find something worth looking at ✨

From LA to New York 🗽

We had an amazing time bringing Artspace Warehouse to the Affordable Art Fair NY this year.

Four days surrounded by incredible art, artists, collectors, friends, and so many new faces. It was exciting to see our collection come together in New York and watch people discover the work in a whole new setting.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with us, and shared the experience. And thank you to @affordableartfairnyc for having us!

Until next time, New York. ♥️

Not everything is so black and white, but this color hunt through the gallery definitely turned out that way. It is fun seeing how the *lack* of color can still have so much variety in composition and contrast.

Featuring artworks by Ve Boisvert, Amber Goldhammer, Zabel, and Petra Roes-Nickel

A moment for this wall part 1! 😊 I had to stop for a second and appreciate this wall.

So much color, movement, and energy happening all at once. Definitely the kind of wall that can change your mood.
